  • This part of the movie can still bring me to tears. And I've seen it Many times.

  • Brock Lesnar

  • So, you are born in the 50's. In your teens there is a genre of movies called 'dollar films'

You go to see them, it is very hard to hang on to the music as there is no easy way to record it.

It is easy to remember the cool character with no name.

Then you discover youtube, suddenly you have the music from the dollar trilogy at your fingertips.......absolutely superb.

  • 0:41 Master of puppets

  • @mandalorian115 i think so

  • i'm alive, i want to fuck the life as hard as i can... All those tombs remind us that a day or another, this crazy man running will be one of them, wathever he founds gold or not...

    Heed

To his every word, live in fear

    Faith

Of the unknown one, the deliverer

    ......

  • there should be a section in the oscars for past films, this was ahead of its time, director, stars, support and the music how couldmit not win against todays crap computer produced films "its real"

  • Gosh! You just gotta love this scene and this one-of-kind movie and soundtrack. I just can't get enough of the greedy Tuco, calm "Blondie," and the ever-cold-and-calculating "Angel Eyes." THIS is classic cinema!

  • @halvsunkigopel it is a piece of paper with the name of the cemetary

  • @123avdb4 No, it's a map that Tuco used several times earlier in the movie.

  • This scene was filmed in a place less than 20km away from my grandma's village in Contreras/Salas de los Infantes, Burgos (Spain).

  • This scene is either very dramatic or quite hilarious. He's looking for gold, after all. Great music and well-filmed.

  • Movies used to be art 20-40 years ago, now they're crap, like.. Twilight, heeeeeee..

  • @HelenaNorway movies today have got no soul

  • @dannyb67 Yes, correct :(

  • Magnifique!

  • A true timeless MASTERPIECE!!!!

  • Kudos to all the death people in the cemetery. Amazing supporting role.

  • @jmborr They should have got the oscars XD

  • He runs like a fag

  • @gothvan With class, style and comedy-ish steps you mean? Yes!

  • impressive

  • Definitely the best of many incredibly directed scenes in one of the best movies ever produced on earth!!! The score is perfect!!

  • the song is amazing, so inspiring.

  • Magnific movie, magnific song.

  • a great acting

    a great music

    a great scene

    old movies rocks

  • favourite scene and fantastic music love this part

  • My favourite scene from my favourite film! It's beautiful.

  • good

  • Que escena... Terrible

  • I keep coming back to this. You can't film a 4 minute scene like this today - all the XBOX teen crowd would find it too boring. But this holds the action very well, it's still one of my favorite scenes ever put on film.

  • True - We live in an ever increasing "instant gratification" world... It's all about "getting to the point".... However in this case, if he was wearing a helmet cam and picked up bonus points for every grave he passed, along with a few explosions, it might be appealing to the XBOX teen crowd...even for more than 4 minutes - LOL

  • ha yeh you're probably right. if a coin popped out of each grave he jumped on that'd make it even better :)

  • Ummm,I'm a teen,I own an Xbox,and I love this scene, movie and trilogy.

  • @lagoonguy kinda wrong there mate

  • @lagoonguy Not all teens. I am one myself, and this is one of my favorite movies.

This scene is the greatest scene in film history..a masterpiece

  • @lagoonguy please don't make generalisations like that I Myself am a teen and love this + i am in the "XBOX crowd"

  • @lagoonguy thats a lie, this is one of my favorite movies and one of my favorite scenes and i play xbox and im a teenager

  • @lagoonguy im 16 and play xbox almost all the time, and yet i LOVE movies like this, my collection is extensive :D

  • @lagoonguy im a teenager and play on xbox and im a girl... this is one of my fave movies i love this song sooooooooo much:)))))

  • I hate it when youtube puts my reply as a standalone message - out of context :/

  • ok im trying to find that famous tune of like when ever there is a showdown in western mvies any one know the name of it ?

  • it's the theme from 'good the bad and the ugly'

  • yes thank you

i found that out after i scarmabled through some of the other videos :)

  • Eli is "the good",

    Ennio, the better and

    Sergio "the great".

  • One of the best scenes of the Good , the Bad and the Ugly. Also another best music seqeuence from Ennio Morricone. Those guys were awesome to make classic spaghetti westerns. Thanks for the upload.

  • After hitting the bar we ended at my neighbor's house and turned on TBS, and this scene was just starting.... but 'the ugly' hit the graveyard, then there was a horrid edit, and then all of a sudden he was at Arch Stanton's grave... I told them to turn the TV off, ran to my place, brought the DVD over, and showed them what that scene was SUPPOSED to look like. Shameful that anyone would cut this scene out. One of the best scenes ever put on film.

  • What a travesty! I can't believe someone would cut this out...

  • Sacrilege!

  • Maybe they thought it was a Metallica song and didn't want to pay royalties to Lars. :-P

  • lol yeh probably

  • Cheers for posting this, its classic. The Man With No Name trilogy was soooooo good

  • i love this song lol

  • this scene where Tuco runs through the grave yard is the best scene in any movie ever

  • I'm with Adam, this scene is the best scene in any movie ever!!

  • Since the age of nine i must have seen this movie like 40 times (no joke). And every time of those 40 times from this scene on till the end of the trial I get goosebumbs and tears in my eyes.

  • One of the greatest scenes ever. Goosebumps here too on top of goosebumps!! Other than Jill'sTheme from OUATITW, this is my favorite Morricone piece,

  • i dont cry, but ive seen this movie 10 times atleast and this is my fav part!

  • THE best song ever written, I believe.

  • And perhaps it's a most notable Morrikone's track, even in comparison to "Chi mai"

  • Best scene of this movie! One of best scene I ever seen!

May be just few moments from incredible "My friend Ivan Lapshin" looks some better...

  • PURE GENIUS

  • This scene is so powerful and the music is a perfect match! One of the best westerns of all time, they will never make em like that again, ever.

  • wow the tune realy sutes this seen :)

  • Unk....Unk.....there's no name on it!

  • that always confused me... if he couldnt read it... how did he know??

  • One of the best dramatic scenes EVER!

  • well this tune/part and the following scene the trio/climatic shootout, is hands fuckin down the best scenes/music back2back ever!!!

  • ennio morricone is a genius

  • Genius is few for him, my friend.

    Greetings!!

  • i want this tune at my funeral love it

  • What a great piece of art from Sergio, Ennio & Clint Eastwood

  • anyone know where that scene was filmed that's one massive cemetary.

  • Spain

  • one of the greatest scene of the movie...

  • got that right!!

  • it was a low budget film and all actors apart from the main ones are italian the whole film had to be dubbed

  • this movie was shoot in analusia amazing Italian western

  • best theme tune eva fukin love it

  • One of the greatest cinematic scenes.

I would put Eli Wallach as the real star of this movie, marginally ahead of Clint and Lee Van Cleef.

  • i agree

  • I also agree. I think the his character is the most developed of the three, with the scenes with Tuco's brother etc.

  • ely wallach is a master actor. this is like a ballet of lusty greed.

  • Love this part of the movie!! Thanks, i tripp out on the dog!! lol

  • This is so fucking good.

  • omg. you are SOOOOOOOOO right. the psychadelic comeback in the song... omg... freekin sweet.

  • I think it was a map he threw but I'm not sure. Check my other video too! :D

  • ohh and for the record the Ugly kicks.

  • In my eyes this is the best little song in the movie. I really like it in the fast part. What was that he threw at 24-25?

  • In my eyes this is the best little song in the movie. I really like it in the fast part. What was that he threw at 24-25?

  • I love this song....so haunting and appropriate for the scene.

  • Oh, I like this scene much more than the scene of last 3 men.

  • the duel scene is good too... the first time i saw it, i was about to tear my fingernails out waiting to see what happened. but now that i've seen it lots, it does tend to drag slightly. Unlike this scene that never gets old.

  • one of THE best scenes in film history.... Music and directing are fantastic... I remember watching this on TBS with some neighbors, and of course scenes are cut because of commercials and stuff, but they COMPLETELY CUT THIS SEARCH scene.... basically they showed him hit the tombstone and then finding the grave.... pathetic... i then ran home to get my own dvd to show them what REALLY happened. THIS scene is part of the movie!!!!

  • lagoon: I saw that too!

    ?!!??!!!

Myopia is maybe the word for TV programmers? Insanity?

    Nice comment, thumbs up.

  • Loved the dog!! Even scared Tuco!!

Every time I visit a graveyard, I hum this magnificent music!

  • Everytime I'm stranded in a desert, and am digging up a grave, I can't help but hum this music!

  • This is a great scene with a perfect score. A genealogist's nightmare.

  • Thank you for posting this!

  • Fantastic scene and a wonderfull soundtrack to boot. One of my all time Favorite films. Thank you for posting
