What about upgraded amor packages? What about mine protection, run flat wheels? Side skirts, electric drive on turrets, pressure difference on road wheels, NBC protection? Seems like old shit with new pait. Good for third world miltarys, but not serious compition end for even entry level wheeled infantrys carriers and convoy protection.

none of what you mentioned is visible, so you cannot know if it is deployed or not. By the way, the stryker is inferior to the SA vehicle developed in the 1970 when SA was under embargo, called the RATEL and the MGS version is inferior to the ROOIKAT. So basically, the US is catching up with the military of a third world nation from the 1970s.

BTR-70's and BRDM's kick so much ass! more recent model BTR-80A, BTR-90, and BRDM-2's are better but still upgrades for the older models make them great!
