Have built a 1/6 scale E-Maxx it's not brushless yet but it's one mother of a beast, feel free to check it out look for 1/6scale Traxxas T-Maxx XL5 teaser video 1-6 using stampede gearbox and homemade drive shafts metches pede xl5 for speed but wiil not roll over going VXL very soon with some running vids very soon.Hope you all can check it out!!

Goober boy thinks he's got it! That 1st gen E- max is laughable. It's like a Nigger that puts a 5000$ set of rims & rubber on his 900$ grand am.... Take that power plant & put it in a E-revo roller or something worth playing with...

You know you can buy battery holders that holds 7 cell batteries.

why don't you run Lipos on it it'll have much more torque.

this happened to me it will happen over time. plastic tranny gears will break, so will the diff's i would recommend upgrading thoughs things

@MrWelch313 mind you with the short wheel base its not stable at all over 35mph. just the slightest amount of turning at that speed will result in no control. thats why ive spent over 150 dollars converting it to the new 35mm longer wheel base.

@43Wyattlong NO the shiftingservo is thou the one with the shaft is a 2016 basic one. the steering is a Hi Tec servo i got from a hobby store not sure on the make or brand

i like the e-maxx but if i could go back to when i baught it with the dual 550s for 399. i would not have it. After puytting in the castle 300 dollars later im already at 700. i could of got a revo or sumthin. but now this truck truely is fun to drive ill get about 45-50 out of this. if i change the gearing out i can reach 60+

yea its a shorter wheelbase i can make 180 turns real easy with it. i like it better. only thing i dont like is that i cant have dual servos.
