Holy crap, that's good stuff. This just brightened an old deadhead's cold dark evening, thank you!! I wanna hear the whole show in one take though! Awesome job!
This is great, not only do all of you have chops, but you should consider yourself lucky for all having a common liking for jamming/ the dead; I've found that that's tough to find for younger people
SET LIST for The Bitter End, November 19, 2011: 1st Set: Gumbo, Mississippi Half-Step, Franklin's Tower, Whipping Post, Soulshine, Fire On The Mountain 2nd Set: Birdsong, Estimated Prophet > Dark Star > Shakedown Street > Oyster Man (Refrain) > 20th Century Schizoid Man > Shakedown Street, Terrapin Station Encore: China Cat Sunflower
Loved the Funk! Jerry would go off like that in the middle of a song and the crowd just kept dancing. Also liked the keyboardist going off at 5:08. I'm checking your schedule and coming to see you.
@gibsonbear Corby's guitar is an Alembic Tribute. I think it has a sweet sound reminiscent of a Doug Irwin guitar (Jerry's luthier) ... But, the music sounds great with Fender Strat or Les Paul too. The GD = genius
@gibsonbear Its a Tribute. Think Jerry's orginal was made from the sandlewood beds of an old opium den that was torn down in San Francisco. D Irwin made for him?? Swingin' axe though. Nice 'Tower' guys.
Fantastic ! This made my day. Im 38 now but got into the dead when I was 15, it's so rad to see kids are still attracted to this music and keepin it fresh. The funk tune you mixed was perfect, your all very talented.
