its about this girl named kate who has cancer and her sister anna was only born to save her life to donate stuff to her to keep her alive but by the time she was 13 she sued her parents for the rights of her own body cuz her parents wanted her to donate a kidney to her but she didnt want to! thats all im gonna say watch the movie and read the book its good!

the 1st time i read the book i thought anna was the speaker *for this part) but yes when i re-read it i noticed the part where it said 'in the end, i didn't kill my sister. she did it all by herself' and yeh it was kinda confusing coz it seems like anna is saying it until u read that part

Ok now I'm way confused. So I re-read the first page like 10 times. That makes Kate seem like she's evil... She said she was only in relation to her sister, when the whole point of the story is how Anna is the only whos only origional purpose is to save Kate.

Umm I just finished the book today, and it didn't say that. You must be reading a wierd version. I REALLY can't wait for the movie. The story isn't told by Anna OR Kate though, it's told by all of the characters. That's what makes it so great in my opinion.
