  • kinda creepy why would u kill your sister????

  • I got the book five days ago and I'm on page 359 bow

  • freaky ...

  • this is weird

  • the movie and the book are so different in the book after anna wins tha case she gets in a car accident and kate lives but in the movie anna dosnt get in a accident and kate dies . there both really sad though

  • Im just wondering, the extract your reading. Is it from anna or kates point of view? Thanks for the video, its great :D

  • This is ment to sound like it is from Anna's point of view but in reality it is Kate's narration. Glad you liked the video!

  • in the book, did Taylor existed??

  • yep

  • @anuvamp Yup.

  • it's from anna's

  • I enjoyed wathing

  • aw, i love it!

  • I haven't read the book yet. But the movie is comeing out tomorrow and i have plans to go see it

  • can you tell me exactly whats it about even at the end?

  • Comment removed

  • i just finished the boook like 10min ,ago its sooo sad i cried!

  • i cried when i read the book to

but it was probably the best book i ever read

  • yea samee

  • can you tell me what its about?

  • its about this girl named kate who has cancer and her sister anna was only born to save her life to donate stuff to her to keep her alive but by the time she was 13 she sued her parents for the rights of her own body cuz her parents wanted her to donate a kidney to her but she didnt want to! thats all im gonna say watch the movie and read the book its good!

  • its sooo sad! i bawled for like forever when i finished even tho my friend told me the ending before i got to it :(

  • :p pyaw haw

  • the "i tried to kill my sister" part is actually from kate's perspective rather than anna's right?? i realised that only after finishing the book, which i guess was the entire point

  • hey this is the other girl from a2DontBScared and you are right that happened we are sorry it just happened before the book started it was in the preface so we are both sorry check out our videos :)

  • that was NOT in the book!!!! i read it and she never talks about killing her sister!! i dont know where u got that from but its not true

  • Its the first page.

  • sorry our mistake

  • man that is so scary

  • Anyone else think Emily Deschanel would make a good Sara?

  • I think Dakota Fanning would have been good as Anna, because she's just a year older than Anna, but she turned down the role because she realized it would mean shaving her head.

  • wait anna shaves her head in it?

  • sorry, i meant kate. dakota's a bit younger than kate's character though.

  • She does shave her head in teh book I'm pretty sure, in support of her sister.

  • OH YEAH! i remeber now!

  • Actually they wanted to cast her as Kate and her sister as Anna which is why she would've had to shave her head.

  • thats what i just said...

  • Great Video I love it

  • Thanks! :-)

  • dakota turned it down because she would have to shave her head

  • cuz hair wont grow back right?

  • not for at least a year no

  • my favorite book!

    im DYING for the movie

  • whats this book actually about?

  • it's about a girl who was born to be a donor for her sister who is sick. it then goes on to tell about a year in her life where she decides to sue her parents for the medical rights to her body.

  • @whatsheknowsaboutyou just like in the movie!

  • have you found out what "My Sisters Keeper" was about yet? Cause if you haven't i could tell you

  • i love the book, i did know there's a movie... oh!

  • aw i love this book!

  • ugh im so mad about the movie though alec baldwin is rumored to be cambell. i hate that! i pictured him young and attractive not like knocking on 50!

however who they cast for the girls im very very happy with =]

by the way your videos cool but the way you read keeps making me crack up

  • Yeah!!!! And i pictured the mum differently than Cameron Diaz

  • to bad Dakota fanning and her sisters turned the roles down.

i really thought they'd be better than abigail breslin and that other chick.

dakota fanning fit the picture better i think, because shes thinner and more sickly looking than abigail.

  • I think they were too young! Usually a 16 year old is either played by somebody that age or older. Dakota would probably work, but Elle is too young for Anna

  • But Elle is very tall for her age she's a few inches shorter than Dakota

  • Uhm, they wanted her to play Kate and her sister Anna. Not working- Elle is only 10. But Dakota as Anna that would have totally worked for me.

  • yeah Abby more fat than Dakota....but I think( My think)....Abigail have a good and beautiful cast to a movies...many movies I see her on it.

she was only 12 years old, but this april she's 13 years old.

I more like Abigail Breslin than Dakota...but rember Dakota is a good actrees too, I love she her on "The Cat in The Hat".

  • Oh Cameron Diaz will not make a good Sara..at all! They didn't do a good job at casting. The girl they got to play Anna, Sophia...looks wayy too young.

  • Duuuuuuude you don't need to have a picture for every word!!! It's really annoying--you keep stopping and waiting 3 seconds before talking.

  • I CANT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!!!

  • midnightmagic133

the 1st time i read the book i thought anna was the speaker *for this part) but yes when i re-read it i noticed the part where it said 'in the end, i didn't kill my sister. she did it all by herself' and yeh it was kinda confusing coz it seems like anna is saying it until u read that part

BUT ITS THE BEST BOOK!!! i cant wait to c it in the movies!!!!

  • i always thought it was anna saying that..now im confused

  • theres a movie? when is it coming out?

  • Sometime in 2008!!

    It's exciting

Look "my sister's keeper" on Wikipedia :D

  • i love that book so much

    <333

  • good, but u need baldness

  • baldness?

  • you know, she had canser

  • It was a great book. I really felt for the youngest sister and found myself despising the mother...shame on her!

  • me too.

    poor anna.

    =[

and the mom just annoyed me.

  • Ok now I'm way confused. So I re-read the first page like 10 times. That makes Kate seem like she's evil... She said she was only in relation to her sister, when the whole point of the story is how Anna is the only whos only origional purpose is to save Kate.

.. I'm way lost, cut out that one line and this book would be amazing.

  • Oh wait no sorry, I was confused, I thought you were talking about the end of the book.. Sorry, watching two videos at once doesn't really work..

  • Umm I just finished the book today, and it didn't say that. You must be reading a wierd version. I REALLY can't wait for the movie. The story isn't told by Anna OR Kate though, it's told by all of the characters. That's what makes it so great in my opinion.

  • Anna isn't the speaker,

you're led to believe that in the beginning of the book,

then it turns out that Kate was the one telling the story.

she would have felt just as left out

it's more than obvious, from the words 'in the end, i didn't kill my sister. she did it all by herself'

  • im scared

  • Wel done. It's good hearing it read aloud, it makes the book seem more real. The film is going to be great! I hope it coes out in the UK.

  • wow powerful... i re-call reading... the that... but i like it beter win some one read it to me... or watch the movie... which i am going to do today

  • beautiful pics! i love this book...it's going to be a movie anyway! (yay!) the director will be the same who directed 'the notebook' (2004)
