  • The best!

  • I just noticed Buddy Wachters solo is based on Django Reinhardts solo on Sweet Sue

  • dont know how i came across this but i'm sure glad i did! it reminds me of the sound track to mario bro. 2.

  • Terrific music!

  • No doubt about it -- these guys are HOT

  • That's what I call a big band banjo bash. I love it.

  • I've never heard it described that way, but I guess you're correct. The outcome is the same, a lot of notes but with only one pick.

  • Totally awesome----so thankful that you shared this with us!

  • A dream Team in action, supurb playing & musicianship, I'm amazed at how good the guy on the left front & the guy behind Buddy Wachter are. Don't recognize iether one

  • Paul Erickson from LaCrosse, Wi. Jimmy Barrett from Chicago

  • fantastic recording. Thank you!

  • I am sorry that the audio is poor but there was a loud engine sound from the riverboat engines in the background because they were crusing down the Illinois River at the time the video was made.

  • No apologies needed. It was an amazing gathering of fourstring banjo talent and achievement. Thanks for sharing it.

  • Just none of this type music around anymore! Great bunch of pickers! Keep posting!

  • They can't be called pickers because they're not picking they're stumming lol.

  • I just read this comment of two years ago. Actually, they are "picking" single string on the leads, The "strumming," also obviously with the same pick, is when they're accompanying. Hence, they're both "pickers" and "strummers."
