iwant a lesson in manual? dont use the gas to start with. let the clutch out 1 cm at a time. as the speed of the car picks up, youll feel the clutch bite, the further the clutch pedal goes out, youll feel it disconnect. then u dont have to touhc anything, drive in circles at 3 mph for ever. no clutch, no break, no gas. only bring the gas on when your comfortable with letting the clutch out without the gas pedal. you'll be double clutching round back roads at a ton in no time. nice whip!!

i taught my best friend and girlfriend how to drive stick with my vehicle and they got it within 5-8 tries but then i tried to show another friend two years later and i just couldnt believe how retarded he was,1 hr into it and all i got was a big head ache, i didn't talk to him for a couple of months i think.

@WRPGM I drive a 2010 X MR - check my vid. Now I really shouldnt say this is a crappy car, but I should have test driven a lot of other higher quality cars in the same price range that didnt fall apart for no apparent reason.

damn, my second time ever driving stick was a 380hp wrx, now that was fun. im just going to say this, people wanting to learn stick should not learn on a car with a hard clutch. best car to learn in would have to be a vw gti, or any vw for that, they have such soft clutches its great.

i was driving my 87 supra 5 spd without many problems with a pretty steep uphill start on my first day...
