The reason medical costs are so high is because of the insurance costs of the doctors resulting from our litigious society. Doctors have to pay so much for college and malpractice insurance that so many of them are becoming specialized physicians which does drive up the cost. We need to cap what people can sue doctors for at 200,000. People suing for million is just ridiculous.
