Actually the Little Entrance used to be the beginning of the Liturgy. It was the first time the priest would enter the church with the Gospel in his hands. Everything that comes before the little entrance used to be sung outside the church in anticipation for the liturgy. It used to be psalms (the Slavs still sing them) but now they are shortened to a few verses.
The description is wrong. The Little Entrance is not the beginning of the Liturgy, and in it it isn't said "Blessed be the Kingdom of the Father...", but "O Son of God, You that ressurrected from the dead (or "You that admirable among the saints"), save us, we who sing to You Aleluia".
"Blessed be the Kingdom..." is before, after the end of Proskomidi.
