I've always wondered how one gets to this point where you can do these sorts of things. Do you study spawning maps and such? How do you keep this as "fun" when this sort of thing no doubt took endless games to get to that point?

@G33kz0r I dunno. At that point, you're either getting to skill levels that make the game itself either rage-inducing (because you're trying so hard repeated to get the high score) or boring as fuck (because there's no actual challenge in the game itself anymore). That's the way I see it, anyway.

@VergessenHeld Well obviously there has to be challenge if he's playing for a high score, and as for rage, it depends more on the player's response to the game than the game in itself. I don't think he's bored because there are plenty of intricacies to learn--like the spawn maps you mentioned--and he probably doesn't rage because he has the patience to learn each intricacy. Your question would be better suited for a superficially difficult game, like IWBTG or Wii Tennis.

I think since I grabbed the 1st bonus chest before the first combo ended, it delayed adding it until my second combo ended before I grabbed the 2nd bonus chest at 0:25 of this video.

okay heres what you do lol on the castle for wesker only use the pistol to break open boxes and get rid of the silencer pretty much you only use the magnum for bosses unless you have more ammo for it and rifle just mow down cause the rifle shot goes through more than 1 person lol

Ada-All 5 star

Krauser-All 5 star

HUNK-one 5 star and the rest 4 stars

Wesker-all 5 star

I was happy that I got 170k and change with Krauser on the castle stage today, with a kill streak of 149. I'm still happy, but after watching these two videos, I'm just wowed.

What do you all think the maximum theorhetical score on this stage is? Is 350k possible, or are you within a % of having the max possible score?

Once you learn spawn points, patterns, and when enemies spawn afer picking up timers, you pretty much have it down.

You do need quick aiming though. This guy has too much of it, lol.

Think I maxed out at 196k here, kinda weak.

That was beautiful. My high is only 209k, but I dont have the spawning patterns down like you do. Best part is you are keeping the archers from spawning up on top. Question though....

I noticed you end your kill streak right before the bonus time. Does that give you more points? Because I just try to go for a kill streak all the way through.

Thank you. I end the combo before the first two chests in order to save enemies for those chests (where kills are worth 300 pts more than normal) and ending the combo just before a chest does not hurt the score. I could have kept the combos going, but that would have cost me about 600 points in the end. Not really a big deal, but when I was trying to squeeze every last point I could out of a run it made a difference.

Really enjoyed watching this vid. As Wesker, the rifle's my weapon of choice, but I'm not nearly as fast with it as you. Also I noticed that you kept getting out a grenade that you never used, then switched back to the rifle to do your kills. Does running while holding the grenade contribute to the spawning of undead?

Wesker (and maybe other characters) can run about 5% faster while holding a grenade vs. holding the rifle. So, whenever I took more than a couple steps I'd switch to the grenade.

Yeah, I generally find very little use for them. Occasionally there will be a plaga that is faster to kill with a flash than a rifle shot, but that is it.

If you did get those 3 easy kills would that have given you enough points to set a new WR? Because, IIRC, Ben & WAVE both have 341xxx & if you would have killed those 3 you would get 900 points for the kills + the extra points from the higher combo, correct?

Close, I would have gotten 2 extra kills (+3 from the lower stairs and -1 from the one in the doorway). You get 1000 for every normal kill over a combo of 10, so that is 343,270.
