I have a TT200 and having real problems with vibration and feedback. Even I move something on the desk the turntable sits on the needle picks up the vibration. I`m using a Stanton Discmaster V3 and tried everything to get rid of the vibration problem. Any advice would be great
@yelever so I'm assuming that you did all of the proper balancing of the needle and have the corrrect weight? Needles are sensitive, but should handle a fair amount of abuse before skipping if set correctly? Also, are you using a straight or S-shaped tonearm?
@Kifly95 I bought mine off ebay, used and they did but most on ebay do, but no they don't come with needles. Mine came with numark groovetool, they cost $24 each (Thats really cheap) and they work awesome!!! But I would buy turntables off of ebay. If they have above 90% positive feedback and sold items, you can beleive the item description. Just look around, my numark tt200 is awesome. Great for scratching, and its solid.
Tight bro. how are those TT200's treating you? and what cartridges do you use and how long do they last with all that scratching? I'm lookin into stepping up to virtual vinyl, I use the Vestax VCI 300 that runs Serato Itch right now

im newbie on mixers.. im gettin a M-Audio X-Session Pro 9900 mixer coz its cheap..i dont know how many channels but waht is the advantage of havin more than one..
aye brutha, good shit. umm, what model of Marathon Cases are yours cause dammit i've been looking for some online to fit my 200's too and i can't find much. get back at me please.
This is great, thanks for the video - I've been thinking about investing in a turntable (something basic) and after watching this I think I'm going to get the TT200
$1390 (U.S.) including torq and the trigger finger, $940 without. Thing is, you can build your setup one part at a time, that way you don't have to drop that much cash all at once.

If you want to do vinyl, you'll need two turntables and a mixer. I like my current setup because I think it's great for guys starting out. Really get a lot for the price. As for song making, I don't personally produce music on a regular basis, so I don't think I really have any tips other than make sure you research everything you think of buying. This stuff is expensive, so make it worth your while.
I have the same mixer and I'm also using torq. I'm considering picking up a trigger finger and assigning the effects (especially the delay) from torq to the it for easy access when looping. I would love to see a quick mix set (r&b, hip hop, pop) where the trigger finger is also used. Just about all the videos are using it with dance music (house, techno, club, etc...).
yeah, I'll try to put something together for ya, look for something soon. I actually use it a LOT when mixing top 40 stuff, makes it easier to mix especially when the intros to those songs are so small. when you loop it and set up cue points, the intro is only as long as you want it to be. Really nice!

youngkidist 1 year ago
@youngkidist i would assume his soundcard is the m-audio one that comes with torq to read the timecoded vinyls.
matt42hughes 1 year ago
@youngkidist Yup, I was using a torq box under the trigger finger I think
