  • Why they are not killing each other? Boring...

  • what theeee ....

  • WORST episode of Robot Wars EVER!

  • hey, they both went to the other side of the room at the same time!

  • you are a bored sad man

  • FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!

  • Move bitch get out the way!

  • Noisy!!

  • These things prove to be going around like idiots , not in a studied way.

So they leave a lot of places dirty. Is that what you can call cleaning the place? No.

  • Does anyone know if the Navibot can go round corners?

    Bummer if it can't....

  • And roomba is the winner

  • 1:53 the attack lol

  • the navibot kicks ass

  • @MrPivotmaster56

Navibot better kick ass, it costs $1000 AUD. That's why I can't get one lol.

  • Well wat I can say here: They both make pretty fine partners though

  • Next time, give them knives.

  • navibot doesn't even bother to go to the topleft section of the room.... it keeps doing the same place over and over... and i think that's just draining the battery.

  • which one you think is better?

  • I hear these robots are great with dirt but not so much with dust?what are your thoughts?

  • Roomba seems like is the more retarded one just bumping into things then shooting off >.>

  • @kazekai8

That's how it works, no real sensor in the front besides an IR receiver. All the Roomba has is a bump sensor in the front.

  • It's good , I have Mamierobot ! xD

  • i prefer a horny maid

  • how much do they cost?

  • KARCHER Robocleaners are better then both only cause it can empty it self & continue on cleanning the house..

  • @GayBoyRunning But, they are super expensive

  • @appleguy1804 you dont get good last products for free mate..

  • Comment removed

  • A $20 microfiber dust mop kicks both of their asses.

  • @whkrause because the mop can be programmed to work while your away at work? Think it through. Robots don't just do your work. They do it autonomously and every day.

  • @kakaolv and cost $100s per year to do it , need constant repairs, have to be cleaned out in a laborious fashion, have to be replaced every couple of years, require that you clean the room to use them, get stuck on cords and tassels, and are in general an owner's nightmare. But the dust mop just sits there when you're away.... stupid dust mop.

  • @whkrause seems like you've had a bad experience :) Mine isn't so bad. Its been running for 3 years now, only thing that needs replacing is bristle block, luckally, they change it for free. Other than that, they cost less than 1$ per month in electricity. I do have to clean it every day, because cat hair stucks on the bristles, but that for me is a very very low price to pay for the constantly clean floors. Its like a maid for buck a month :)

  • what kind do you have irobot or sumsung?

  • @kakaolv Which one cleans better the Samsung Robot or IRobot I am looking to get one myself but need some suggestions :)

  • @CaptainZangetsu So far definitely Roomba

  • @whkrause if you buy them from hammacher they come with a lifetime warranty... that includes any repairs you might need. Just saying.

  • ROOMBA IS BETTER

  • i had this roomba on the video for 1 year now, and i am very impressed, i have a dog and it furs alot twice a year, since i got my roomba, it never is a problem for me anymore.

  • Samsung NaviBot vs iRobot Roomba vs Broom.

    Broom wins.

  • I was just wondering... what is the durability rating of the Roomba?

  • Come and do this competition into my room please :D

  • iRobot does a much better job and is a little cheaper. If you don't know which one to get, Buy the roomba, it also maps out the house. Samsung fails...I have both. Kthnx

  • science fiction becoming reality

  • can you through a neato xv-11 into the mix because i think that one is better than both of these put together

    plaese comment on

  • If you guys want proof that iRobot is the best robot out there, search for this video on youtube: Roomba vs Navibot vs Cleanmate vs Philips Homerun coverage test. The roomba has gone over the entire room like three times before the others even finish.

  • The Samsung sucks. It has very slow reactions and does a poor cleaning job. iRobot ,on the other hand, ensures it has cleaned every space and goes over it a few times. It also focuses on dirtier spots. The iRobot makes a map of the room too, but it doesn't rely on it as much as the stupid Samsung. iRobot starts out by doing swirls then mapping out the room. NaviBot just goes random.

  • @mormongrl1 of course its better for gods sake they invented the robots, every other company just copies their products, Roomba covers every spot that it is reachable in the room up to 5 times almost 98% of the room. Who cares if others are faster, the most important thing is that you are not doing it the robots are doing it.

    :)

  • @macinka85

Roomba wasn't first, the Electrolux Trilobite is older.

  • lol @ 0:36

iRobot : get away, this is my spot! *BOOM" :D

  • Dla mnie super robocik !

  • 1:54 Roomba attacks

  • i have an irobot and it works great i would personally prefer irobot over the samsung model because irobot is dedicated to robots unlike samsung

  • the samsung navi bot is much beter than the roomba because the samsung maps you room and the roomba gos in any direction and plus and the samsungnavi bot is much beter also because it does not dump the wall and then back up and go in any location like the roomba and the roomba bounces into walls samsung navibot is beter but that is my opion

  • a dirt cheap camera and an arm7 chip and some good code and it will do perfectly. so stupid to make them blind and dumb

  • fuck vacuuming i fuck ducks

  • @lambertxMc its like a recon. looks around than starts

  • Ask me, both of them look like retard.

  • I have both of these and the Roomba 560 wins hands down. The Navibot does a poor clean every time.

  • irobot>navibot

  • Boths are cute, but Samsumg is the winner !!!

  • How/Does it know where to clean? Where it has already cleaned?

  • Love it that the Roomba had done far more area than the Samsung.

  • looks like they are fighting each oder

  • You guys can keep arguing about which ''one'' is the best.. I will buy both:)

  • These bots should get a sonar to scan and familiarise themselves with the entire room instead of using only cameras.

  • The robots are clueless...

  • White one is faster but Samsun got better sensor

  • Samsung knows what to do and how to do it Uniformly...

unlike Roomba, it's like its just playing around!

  • I have a Roomba and a Dyson animal. The Dyson is great for maybe once a week...but the Roomba runs every day. My floors are super clean and I have two dogs.

  • hi. which one makes more noise? tq.

  • Well, roomba cleans more, and takes sameplace more than twice, which is good. The only thing i see is better at the samsung, is the fact, that the samsung got 2 side brushes, and roomba only got 1..

    I got a roomba btw.

  • I have a Samsung and my sister has a Roomba. Her Roomba cleans much much better, because it passes 2 or 3 times in every place, the Samsung forgets many crumbs because one time is not enough.

  • I really prefer the samsung navibot because it looks more efficent than irobot roomba. it looks very fast and dosen't seem to give a good clean compared to the samsung navibot.

I Have now brought a samsung navibot and i got it cheaper then the irobot roomba

  • I have a Samsung & 2 iRobots. it's much more intelligent. You can see it thinking and navigation obstacles, it REMEMBERS where they are at a later time much better as well, ie. I have a table with very thin legs and after it went for the charger, it avoided the table legs. Doesn't clumsily bump around, this maps the room & does it all. iRobots have their strengths likely cleaning better, you can just run this a couple more times. Charging is fast and never fails to find dock from anywhere.

  • @caka23 Samsung is doing very good, but robots are quite a different story. And as much as i'd like to see more competition, Navibot isnt nearly as good as Roomba.

But, the main point is that "robot vacuums" are NOT regular vacuum substitutes. You cant say that robot is X times more expensive than Dyson or whatever, because robot gives you free time and keeps your floors clean EVERY day. Thats like a maid for 700$/for ever. And that is quite cheap :)

  • roomba is way better

  • what about youtube film when navibot doing amazing things for the norwegian national curling team. Search navibot - curling

  • yes

  • I've got Samsung NaviBot i half say it better

  • why is the roomba always spinning like a retard?

  • @LambertxMc lol i bought a roomba and after seeing a video of navibot I do agree that roomba is a retarded robot.

  • Comment removed

  • @AlexMessoMalex2 I dunno why but that just made me laugh dude!

  • @aliastimmy2k5 - Me too! I read it twice then showed it to my hubby. Same kinda reason he'd buy this LOL!

  • How much does Samsung vacuum robot cost in U.S.?

  • 0:36 Robot butt sex

  • 1:54 Roomba attacks the Navibot.

  • Roomba!

  • roomba wins every time, much better cleaner

  • those things are noisy, would scare the cats

  • 1:19 Auch...

    2:40 Auch...

  • The Samsung robot is much better.

The Navibot is actually making a map of your house as it cleans so it never does the same place twice. Roomba uses a dumb algorithm. If it bumps into something it shoots off in a random direction.

  • @legion2 This doesn't necessarily mean, that Navibot is better. It just means, that its easier for us to understand :)

But in real life conditions, Roomba cleans better (also exactly beacuse it cleans one spot several times).

Plus, if you move a chair or something, Navibots "room map" gets messed up and it hase to recalculate the room.

I'm not saying its a bad idea - its great. But for now, the Roombas "dumb" algorithm gives much better results.

  • @kakaolv simultaneous localization and mapping is not "easy to understand." i don't think most people even classify the roomba as a "robot." you can't say its autonomous because it never really makes a decision.

  • @kakaolv bbest argument ive seen on youtube finally something worth talking about

  • @kakaolv As long as robotic vacuum cleaners have minimum suction, they are half pointless and too expensive for what they can do. I mean, doesn't this just work on hard floors?

  • @OliverLovesIt half-wrong :) These robots don't have to have huge suction power, because they don't have to do a very hard work, like usual vacuum cleaners, which are normaly used once a month or so. The beauty of robots is that they can/should work every day. That way they keep the floors constantly clean, and need a relatively little power to suck in tiny amounts of dirt.

They do work great on carpets. Not long-haired carpets of course.

  • @kakaolv

search this on google " Comparatif robot aspirateur : Test Roomba 555 et Navibot SR 8855" and translate the page, it shows a good comparison of the products but you have to be on the french version to see the video

  • @legion2 Oh so it creates a map on the go, so clever. Thanks for the info.

  • roomba!!!!!!!!

  • @tombee2 comparing these two, yes, Roomba gets better results.

I also have a cat. Roomba cleans litter from capret easily, no problems there. The only problem can be with cat hair - it sticks to bristles, and you have to clean them regulary. But thats a small price to pay, for clean floors.

There is a pet frendly Roomba available.

All Roombas except the cheapest ones can be programmed to clean every day at different time. Mine works while i'm at work, so when i return, the floors are clean:)

  • @kakaolv about sturdines - Roombas themselves are very reliable. Just be ready that battery will die in about two years, so you will have to get a new one (battery). Also, the bristle block can break, if you do not clean the bristles from cat hair. It just transfers inside the gears and messes everything up. But if you remove the cat hair, lets say, every other day, Roomba will work fine for a long time.

  • Roomba kicks ass.

  • hi @ kakaolv

which one is the best and does it get up all the dirt or does it do a rubbish job and hav to get the hover out ?

    thanks

    mreliot5555

  • @MrEliot5555

In essence: Navibot cleans conisderably worse. Not very bad, but worse than Roomba in everyday situation.

If you use the robot everyday (as is intended) then your house will always be generaly clean, u'll just have to hoover some corners behind furniture or places like that once a month or so.

  • you shouldn't use two moving bots in one room together, navigation algorytms are confused !

  • @ge0rgecz robots should be ready for everything ;) Roomba doesn't really mind, but Navibot gets totally confused

  • What a hell is that

  • @sharpanator By default it doesnt clean close to walls. To make it clean close to walls you have to set it manually to Edge mode. Which makes the whole purpose of the "automatic robot" useless, if you have to manually tell it how to clean.

Also, its not programmable - you can't just leave it on its own to clean house while your're at work.

And as i showed in viedeo - it leaves some dust behind. One bristle is NOT enough to clean properly.

  • @sharpanator I've used Roomba for 2 years. Never had any problems with bristles themselves. The bristle block can "die" if you don't clean the Robot regulary. But overall its quite reliable.

Btw, in forums people usually only talk about problems, so it always looks like everyone has problems:)

Anyways, i wouldnt suggest Navibot. Not yet. Let it evolve, maybe next model will be optimised. Now its very expensive and cleans worse than Roomba.

  • The Race Is On!

  • big beyblades :)

  • Roomba is really random ... maybe it clean one zone 20 times and others one time or none ...

It understand when job is finished or he think that 'maybe' he has finished ?

  • Samsung is too slow! :D Really! Believe me. In that video, it is proven that Samsungs` Navibot is not an Every-day-clean-well-robot. Well, i wish i had a Roomba 581. But they are not that cheap. Over 500 Euros. Well, i guess, i should stop dreaming...

  • Comment removed

  • iRobot is more fun to watch.

  • Samsung is the best.. iRobot bashed into the samsung at 0:37:( ...that's cheating!...Samsung vacuum cleaners are very quiet. :) and also they other stuff. :) iRobot doesn't know how to drive/race..maybe he'll learn after a few months.

  • AxelX1 : Roomba seems to be faster, but I guess the Samsung is more accurate and efficient. I'm waiting for some unbiased reviews to get me one.

  • @pverberckmoes Don't. Seriously. Navibot is crap in everyday use in "normal" house. In real life it struggles between table legs, corners and is easily confused. It is also "afraid" of walls, and in normal AUTO mode it doesn't clean the floor near walls. Also, it can't automatically turn on virtual walls (you have to switch them on by hand EVERY TIME (or leave them on forever)). Its front wheel is not removable and gets stuck within two cycles if you have a cat (cats hairs are killing robots)

  • Comment removed

  • @pverberckmoes

Also it has only one bristle, not two like Roomba, and it does affect cleaning ability.

On the plus side - it moves more "logically", so a human being can understand its thinking. Whereas Roomba seems to move randomly. Yet, in everyday use Roomba is still (FAR) better. AND cheaper.

  • @kakaolv : that is what I call a unbiased review. you got them both and can compare their performance. I'm thinking of buying a robot-vacuum cleaner and I don't care if it's logical : it needs to clean. Roomba has proved it delivers the job: but I was just curious about the NEW competition. Thanks for the reaction, with your reaction I'll probably buy a iRobot.

  • @pverberckmoes i have read a detailed review (in hungarian), samsung's one easily stucks in "traps" which the Roomba easily cleans, plus it leves the room unfinished.

  • @pverberckmoes Samsung just doesn't clean!

  • @pverberckmoes I've got a Roomba for almost three years now. Had to exchange the battery last November and am through two sets of brushes now (one extra set was included). I got to say, I really like the Roomba. I initially bought it as a men-toy, because I thought it would be cool to have a little robot driving around the house. But now I have to admit it is a really good product that just works as advertised. Never thought I'd still use it three years later.

  • Cool video. I have two roombas 560 nad it seens on this video that irobot is still the best.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheHomeAppliances : I bought the iRobot 560. It really does the job. And "yes" it bumps against obstacles, but when you use a vacumcleaner you also bump against obstacles. However, the Roomba has a Infra Red sensor and reduces speed before bumping so you won't harm anything.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheHomeAppliances ;p Roomba does vacuum the same spot several times, she's not that clever. But trust me, she really bumps very gentle, at least, my 560 does. If it annoys you, you could stick a band on the bumper, the kind you use to isolate your doors.
