I've had to out run the tide there in Savannah Sound a few times. Always wondered how we would get pulled out. I also haven't seen the green jeep for a while prob because everyone treated it like it had fourwheel drive.
ROFL! When I was on Eleuthera in the early 70's, we used to run the beaches at night with 4-wheel drive vehicles. What made it really fun was there were soft patches where the vehicle would come to a sudden stop and sink. We would hop out, put it in 4-wheel low and dig like mad until it popped up again. Talk about fun!
