See, this is how I try to convince a lot of my guy friends to give ballet a try. "You get to grope hot girls and NOT get slapped. It's a win-win situation."
Gay or not, ballet is a great form of excersize. PLUS you get a nice core (abs) and bum. I've taken modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, acro and theatre but ballet is by far my favourite. If you are thinking of taking it, try it out!
Pretty much all of the comments praising this video are inherently homophobic.
Why?
The positive comments imply that even being considered gay is a bad thing. Therefore, it follows that, no matter how much the commenting persons protest otherwise, they think being gay is a bad thing.
@polemius01 not necessarily. Some of us just think that being gay has nothing, necessarliy, to do with dance and that many guys who dance are straight.

However, I am a gay man. As a member of this minority, I, like other minorities throughout history, am sensitive to discrimination. Many of the people leaving these comments are falling over each other to dismiss the idea of ballet as being a bastion of gay make dancers, and they are homophobic in the process.

Look only a gay person would find grappling or wrestling sexually arousing. If you are not gay and are cool you should have no problem grappling. Ballet, with its pink tuts and prancing is inherently gay. I do not care how many women you touch.

Ballet was inventing by kings and if you could not ballet you were kicked out of society? WTF are you talking about? Sounds like you are confusing ballet with ballroom dancing.
@Plato86 No he's not, classical dance as we know it today was developed only in the XIX century however it's creation is placed around the XV century in the italian and (later) the fernch courts (seeKing Louis XIV). Nobles used to dance and entertain/impress with this primitive form of ballet that later evolved into the dance we see today.
@Plato86 Ballroom dance comes from dances from balls, the difference lies in that ballet comes from PERFORMANCE dances, stories told through dancing, ballroom dances were dances for guests at parties pretty much.
