I have a 7x7 cube. I get as close as possible by forming bars and a 3x3 centre block and use commutators to finish the job on the few remaining cubies.
@esquimalt1 - Yeah, I tend to not see the most efficient solutions while speed solving. Only when going slow. By the way, massive review part 5 is up.
Common, can you do it faster??? xD you DON'T help me if you do it toooo fast. xD

I actually solved my 7x7 using logic.. It took 2 days though.
Maybe u can learn me how to solve it a little faster :)

Nice Tutorial!
baaah134 2 years ago
excellent tutorial!! Please do a full centers walkthrough too... pretty please!!
I have a suggestion... if you haven't tried yet.
Try starting with 2x5 blocks. In some instances (but not all) it requires less moves... if you're lucky you may get 3x5 blocks.
I once had 3x5 then a 2x5 for the finish... too bad I didn't time myself.
izovire 2 years ago
@izovire Thanks a lot for your suggestion, I'll look into that more. I only really have done it when it was like two moves lol.

Could you do one for edges? I solve centres in about the same time as alot of sub-4'ers, but my edges are really lacking.
Jakegouldon 2 years ago
Yeah sure.
esquimalt1 2 years ago
Great tutorial, not only is it helpful to hear you explain it, but it's better to see how someone who averages sub-4 does it.
