  • Jesus DW how many pit stalls do you need? BoOOGITY BOOGITY

  • IT MAY NOT BE A TRUE BIG ONE, IT SURELY IS BIG!

  • Nascar is boring and stupid to me now, 2001- were the best days of nascar now its so modernized you cant tell a toyota from a fucking ford, chevy, or dodge!!!

  • @Buckkiller888 there stock cars. there made to run the same. same hp, chassis, body syles ect... drivers now days are only worried about being beat by another driver not by another car.

  • This is the best Nascar ever looked to me personally. Could just be that I was kid then and stuff from your childhood always gets the rose colored glasses treatment.

  • Anyone know WHY they had 2 pace cars pacing the field under caution? I don't remember them ever having 2 pace cars aside from the normal warm up laps each race

  • if I'm not wrong this was the year they tried a new pit procedure with like a group A - group B - or something like that...I remember seeing a race on ESPN Classic or SPEED like that a few years ago.

  • doug richert was Greg Biffle's crew chief for a while, not sure who he's working with now? He worked with DW in '91.

  • Richert is the crew chief for Casey Mears and the #90 this year.

  • Hut Strickland, and Rick Mast are a rew name I have'nt heard in a while.

  • big one... yea right

  • in the description it says..."not a true big one but the biggest of the race"

  • @RaidenX2007 This was before NASCAR bunched the cars up together to "create more excitement" So that was a BIG ONE. Besides "the big one" is defined as the biggest wreck of the race, involving multiple cars, doesn't mean you have to have 15 20 cars in it

  • yes it is him

  • Is the british announcer david Hobbs the current F1 announcer.

  • yes

  • he does the rolex 24 too.

  • Whatever happened to Hut Strickland? Did he quit or something?

  • He drove full time until 1997. He missed some races in 1998, 99 & 2000 due to poor equipment, his last race was in 2002.

  • Just never got the right breaks, he suffered from a lack of great equipment at the time. Good drivers just not enough teams.

  • Then I'll bet you loved the next 5 Daytona 500s, too. It sure is great to see a champion's raceday ended in a pile of scrap metal.

    Have some respect, man.

  • Thanks for uploading this.

Too bad for Hut Stricklin and Harry Gant.
