A quite interesting theory on prayers. Why do some people receive what they want and others dont? Think of it like this- you cant drink from an empty glass. What one receives after praying is considered to be a "borrowed" energy. One has to continue to do good deeds in order to borrow that energy and receive what he's asking for. It's like a bank account- you simply cant withdraw from an empty account. Same concept when praying...

I don't really care about whatever it is in Christianity/any other religion that people argue about. The music is pretty, and the people who wrote the Bible had good intents. So there. Some people had their life figured out and they wanted to share it with the world, and then some people joined up to believe in something without regard to whether it was true or false. To me, that's proof that people can be united, for better and for worse. If I were you, I'd be happy and just leave it at that :D

Prayer solves nothing. Learn to do something about your problems instead of being lazy about it and resorting to your 'god' to do the work for you. That's all religion is, laziness. A quite interesting theory on prayers. Why do some people receive what they want and others dont? Think of it like this- you cant drink from an empty glass. What one receives after praying is considered to be a "borrowed" energy. One has to continue to do good deeds in order to borrow that energy and receive what he's asking for. It's like a bank account- you simply cant withdraw from an empty account. Same concept when praying...

I admit that the God discussion is stimulating and atheism does dishearten me, but I feel as though said discussion is rarely productive. It may be so that we should focus simply on being kind and positive in our Earthly lives. I'm an atheist, but I would never say something like that. If someone wants to have faith in something, then let them be, we're no better then the religious extremists if we push our beliefs on them like they've pushed them on us.
