I saw Vesta in Cleveland, Ohio at the Palace Theatre downtown (1998?) at the Tri-C Jazz Fest, along with Will Downing, Phil Perry, Gerald Albright, and a Host of Others...! She was and IS a Phenomenal Singer and that range is OFF THE CHARTS! RIP Dear Vesta! Should have gotten Grammys and awards for the voice, the love she gave to fans, and her Joyous Spirit that kept all of us Rolling in laughter! The Angels are sangin' now! GOD Bless Vesta!

Everyone i want you to know the truth about Vesta, she was a talented singer and loved and wanted to be Chaka so bad!!! She didnt blow up because she didnt have her own identity and the record companies already had Chaka, i loved Vestas music but she sounded so much and acted like Chaka that made it difficult for her. She did background vocals for Chaka and through the years never got along with Chaka. RIP girl. Its just like Lady GAga and Madonna

@raybarks100 Where the hell you get THAT from? Vesta did background vocals for A LOT OF PEOPLE. She didn't blow up because the record company didn't INVEST in her as they SHOULD have. Vesta didn't want to be Chaka...she wanted to be one bad ass Vesta.
