  • and then precure 5 go go makes a total rip-off of all the attacks......

  • I just noticed, when she does this attack her fingers make "I Love You" in sign language.

  • Venus Love Me ^^

  • I think the "love me" part may be loosely based on a magic girdle that the Goddess Venus owned which if worn could make no man resist you. This clearly does not work for Minako.

  • Eternal Sailor Moon's attacks also make no sense.

  • I like both the Japanese and American versions of this attck. In japanese it's "Love-me chain!" and American it's "Love Chain Encircle!"

  • ruvume chan is my favorite attack from sailormoon

  • sure it make sense... RUV ME CHAIN! . what's not to get.

  • VENUS Love-me shaaaeeee

  • IN SPANISH THE TRANSLATION IS "CADENA DE AMOR" OR IN ENGLISH "CHAIN OF LOVE"

  • Even though the "Love-Me" part doesn't make any sense, the way she says CHAIN!!!!, is just Fierce!!

  • One thing I wish the anime would have done was to have Venus wear her chain on her waist, like in the manga and PGSM.

  • Andromeda Chain!!!

  • I noticed the most powerful shenshi have equitment weapons, Sailor Moon's rods, outer senshi orb rob and mirror and sword, tuxedo masks's stick thing, and venus's chain

  • Awesome quality *_*

  • This is my absolute favorite attack out of all the senshi!!

  • "love me chain"??? sounds clingy as hell! she'd be the scariest ex-girlfriend ever.

  • @conceitarturo lol xD

  • Some of the attacks were not grammatically correct which explains why DIC changed them in the english version.

  • something i always wondered.

To native english speakers, does the "love me" part make any sense?

  • yes... i guess... :/ love me.. its like saying to someone to love you

  • she says her chain to love her?

  • Νοοο. Its a chain that makes Venus's victim love her i suppose

  • @korjaga3 - It works if you look at it like a brand name.

"Venus Love-Me Cereal! Now with marshmallows!!" XD

  • It depends what it is supposed to mean in Japanese, I guess.

(Like that episode where they said LET'S DANCING :P)

  • @korjaga3 if you say love in Japanese it the same as English the same for Venus and me also chain and the other words that the sailor scouts say. if you didn't know japanese is a form of french so put two and two together

  • @korjaga3 The "love me" part is easy (for me) to distinguish. However, when consonants aren't pronounced (i.e. the "n" at the end of "chain"), the seiyuu can become a bit harder to understand.

  • @korjaga3 hahaha, no it doesn't,, but it kinda sounds cute. ^_^

  • @korjaga3 XD It makes enough sense to me.

  • @korjaga3 No it doesn't.

  • @korjaga3 To me it does. She says it like Love-oo me chain. But the oo part is barely present, so I get it. >_>

  • @korjaga3 Japanglish.

Just like "Thousand Sunny", the name of that ship from One Piece.

It's not "One Thousand Sunny Days" or even "One Thousand Suns". It's just "Thousand Sunny". Nonsense. Japanglish.

  • @korjaga3 mayb wen they get hit they fall in luv with her

  • @korjaga3 you know i think none of them make any sense what so ever so what can we do...plus it is anime so what do u exspect

  • @korjaga3

Only a handful of these special attack names actually make any bloody sense, and even they're pushing it.

As much as I love hearing it, I want someone to tell me what Sparkling Wide Pressure is supposed to mean.

  • @adejobi1000 Oh, I think you know what it means~! xD

  • @adejobi1000 Add Shine Aqua Illusion for me too! lol

  • @adejobi1000 Another scout in a later episode has an attack called 'Star Gentle Uterus'

    Good times.

  • @korjaga3 no exactly, thats why the english version is just "love chain"

  • @korjaga3 Not exactly XD.

  • @korjaga3 no, not really

  • @korjaga3 no

  • @korjaga3 yeah it kinda does

  • @korjaga3 Apparently not to the dubbers because they changed it to just plain ol' "love." I mean, they would understand it I guess... But no one would ever really say it :P

  • @korjaga3 yeah because love is the power of venus :P

  • @korjaga3 I think it's actually "Love-me"

  • @korjaga3 yeah it actually does XD

  • @korjaga3 meh, it makes more sense than "Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss" :P

seriously, I think they were pulling frilly words out of a hat to name this and just streamed them together.

personally, I think "Starlight Therapy Kiss" would have made more sense but whatever :P

  • @kawaiiPASTA lets not forget Gorgeous meditation

  • @korjaga3 Yep, it makes sense. That particular bracelet/necklace is called a 'Love Me Chain.'

  • @korjaga3 yeeeahhh fairly enough

  • @korjaga3 Yes because Venus is the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Reason for her senshi rant and some of her attacks.

  • @korjaga3 kinda, but it sounds cool even if it didn't!

  • @korjaga3 yea that chain make you love her if i had the chain when i hit u with it your going to love me if it kills you

  • She's my favorite senshi

  • @mlhalliwell She's My Favorite Senshi Too!! I Think She's Awesome!!!!

  • TY :D
