Do you even understand how proteins are constructed? all cells we know contain proteins, they are used to construct enzymes the majority of the time. You have no scientific basis for your argument, untill you can direct me to several credible articles regarding research carried out on this subject your argument is invalid.

Lysine and Tryptophan are the two words that will prove this, plant eaters require more. We as humans do not need the mass amounts of protein (We get from meat) to sustain life, only a limited amount from the appropriate sources. A steak I believe is 51% protein while Spinach contains 49% protein, Lettuce is 34% to name a few. If you keep your diet well rounded you get the amino acids, or mix your diet with soy to make up for the loss. There are many links, so look up "Biochemistry of Plants."

The key problem with your argument has been brought to light by yourself, Esotericism is a BELIEF, a belief can be wideley held, and old this does not render it any more valid, a good example of this is the bible, it is a belief, not a fact, and therefore invalid for debating purposes. You seem to see something sinister in magnetic fields, this is still not evidence for your said spiritual energy, it is a massive leap to make, and one that you make all to easily.

Sinister? I find it rather interesting. The magnetic field that has scientific proof (but no explanation) is what the belief system (Why I mentioned the belief system first) is the supposed "Aura" that is formed. The aura consists of spiritual energy in beliefs, and magnetic field energy in the scientific belief. Because science is a belief as well. A scientific method. Science would not be where it is today without the great philosophers and spiritualists of the past.

No you're right it wouldn't be where it is , science would be alot further ahead without the spirtualists that have hindered it's advancements by assuming that anything that reduces their power should be boycotted. Plato. If you are well read on Plato, this should be a no brainer. You seem to be confusing spiritualism with religion. "Science" refers in its broadest sense to any systematic knowledge-base or prescriptive practice that is capable of resulting in a prediction or predictable type of outcome. In this sense, science may refer to a highly skilled technique or practice. As a lover of science you seem to be limiting what science can achieve to the more restricted sense of the practice.

Spiritualism is the understanding of my individual soul, not others, but my own. No practice involved, but research on "why." I ask questions through spiritualism, but answer them through other means that may provide proof or some sort of explanation. Pythagoras used Mysticism, even Plato used a form of Mysticism to ask questions and used a more exact form (Philosophy) to answer the questions with critical proof/thinking. I don't make shit up off the top of my head LOL, I research.
