I had a baby and I thought I was taking PERFECT care of it when this happened. I cried for hours and then had 2 nightmares that night XD

I think there's just something about the death of virtual pets that inherently gives small kids nightmares. I cried all night after playing Creatures for the Playstation, and that was only at the IDEA at death (all of my Norns were too young to reach old age, and I stopped playing altogether after that night). I'm pretty sure the beeping, flashing, and depressing shots of a suffering Tamagotchi beat out anything Creatures could have done to me, though.

I also remember playing Digimon World for Playstation at about age 4, and I had a Digimon (can't remember the name... Tyrannomon or something?) that died at a really old age. I was depressed for a while, since that one was really old...

"H-hey, why is the knockout countdown still going on? I used the revival disk, and that's supposed to fix things, right? I-I don't like this game anymore."

I accidentally killed mine by feeding it too many ice-creams. I was experimenting what would happen and, to tell you the truth, it kinda startled me. It was going good, original music, feeding ice-cream and then 'Bleeeeeeep, beep beep beep...'

I feel your pain, dude. No matter WHAT I did that tamagotchi GBC would not stay alive. Even if you pump him full of medicine he always dies in the second stage. Because this was my first tamagotchi game, I always figured they were impossibly hard. But nope, only this game is this pissing difficult.

That depends on what type of medicine you give him (I think). You give him a shot or 2 when he's in the machine thing and a pill or 2 when he's not. That's what I THINK anyway...

I remember this game. I don't play this game anymore, b/c whenever I was playing it, my Tamagotchi just died suddenly. It scared the shit outta me. Not to the fact it died, it's b/c it happened out of the blue.

The death for the GBC is more tragic than the Tamagotchi pocket (Regular egg-thing). Not to mention Bandai rushed on the GBC project, so it was easier for your tamagotchi to die. I feel sorry for your lost pet.
