I just found out whilst looking in my iPhone's 'Legal' section and it strangely included a Google Section that wasn't google maps. I read i for a bit and it said exactly this (no edits): "Sometimes, we record your phone number when you send it to us;" Send it to you? You mean you take it from me when i use something google on my phone like the maps app that uses google apps? Privacy with google is more like privacy theft with google...

BE AWARE Google keeps records of all your searches for 18 months together with your IP address. That's personally identifiable, whatever they say.There is no legal requirement for it. They just do it. WHY?
