  • @Anaximander2048 did you notice the "flat" chord at :57 ?? sometimes mistakes work "in" your favor - thanks for listening :-)

  • are you fingerpicking?

  • Do u have sheet music? or the name of chords u used????

  • @LMWPRODUCTION - lot of minor 7 flat 5 chords

  • @delpuckett thank u much. merry christmas!

  • It's just great.. wish I could play in a such manner

  • 5 stars to you DEL. Love your rendition. Im learning the song for Christmas. Thank you for sharing this. Wish you the best and Happy holidays!

  • thank you and Merry Christmas to you as well :-)

  • Hey Del is that standard tuning? if not was is it. and thanks for the video cant wait to play it on christmas

  • yeah - standard tuning.... it's tricky...so go slow and take your time

  • Tabs plzz

  • no tab for this one sorry :-(

  • same plzz

  • Chet Atkins style I see but very played.

  • Cool, I gotta try that. I think I can follow along.

  • Cool! I am 9 years old and I want to be a gutiartist one day. I hope you will check me out and maybe comment. Thanks Jacob.

  • Absolutely great tutorial. But pretty difficult to learn from, considering the large amount of uncommon chords. haha. Atleast for us beginners.

But awesome playing. It was amazing

  • next year. hahahaha... probably not... but this was great and nice and close up... thank you and Merry Christmas. xo

  • Awesome man!

  • nice, i love the way u play. i love the sound.

  • can i get the tabs of this .. i don´t can play this by seeing the vid.. but wonderful

  • Wow, I love this!

Hey, I wanted to learn some Christmas jazz songs in time for Christmas, and I was wondering if there was a book you would recommend?

  • i guess it depends on what level of guitar player you are. what is your learning style...what style you'd like to play...etc. what i do is just find chords to support the melody. i seem to use a lot of min7flat 5 chords for passing chords. i use 4 note (maj7/min7th) chords and usually the highest note in the chord will carry the melody. that's how i do it. drawing out the tabs would take a long time...

  • I see what you're saying. I have always wanted to get into Jazz, but the chord shapes, and theory, are quite daunting...

    Thanks for the reply.

  • i will post a similar song (oh little town of Bethlehem) using similar chords and in the same key. since it is a shorter song i could possible draw up some tab for it. stay tuned

  • tab for OH LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM is up - see my video and video discription

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!dude!!!!!!!!dat was crazy....

  • wow, i swear your like the best guitar player ever, no joke

  • Please tab it out for us, if you don't mind. Thanks :D

  • see my OH LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM video - it's similar and has tabs...

  • could you note the chords for this?

  • if i thought about it...but i'm too lazy :-)

  • Classy technique, but the harmony's too clever for the melody - the tune doesn't flow.

  • i agree, i think the motif is lost through so much extra harmonizing.

especially at "just like the ones i used to know.."

  • great version - really nice smooth sound.

  • More please. I just like hearing you play.

  • What tuning is this in? it is awesome thanx for such beautiful music

  • very classy bro.

  • tabs por favor?

  • Thank you so much for that! I love that song! I hope to learn that soon... thanks for showing how to play it! :)

  • i love it

  • very nice, relaxing...

  • always look forward to new stuff from you, keep em coming...m

  • Very well done.

  • Great job, Del.

  • Mad skills... somehow a term I wouldn't generally associate with the playing of christmas music eh? but you do it well sir! Great stuff and hopefully soon I can get my electric fixed so I can get it tuned... so... I can learn how to play Dell Puckett's "White Jazz Christmas" :)

  • Oh, it's so pretty!!

I know that I'm not good enough to play that yet, but you give me hope that one day, I will be able to jam it like you do! :)

  • Love it! Awesome job:)
