  • Incredible dexterity!

  • 2:10 a drop of spit falls from the didge.

  • this guy's got an awesome pad

  • oh..MIKE jackson...

  • Awesome!!

  • I wish I had a didge with response like that!! Living in Canada I am very limited on the pieces available to me. By the way, where is this hunt? I have seen a few videos with some of the top didge players with this same background.

  • @roadykev420 thats L A outback this didge store in L A

  • Das ist ja sehr, sehr sehr gut!!!!!

  • thats shit hot dude!

    love it....and the stick

is that duct tape on it?

if so why wouldnt you fill in the cracks or holes instead?

    cheers

  • Warp 8 didge!

  • 1 more dislike and justin beiber gets it!

  • thanks Mike, this inspired me to pick up the didge a year ago.. couldnt get one where I am so made a pvc one. still in awe over this vid!

  • fanthastic,fanthastic i have no Words for this ...5*****

  • Whoa!

  • This is just unbelievable. Makes me feel jealous.

  • Is he using a didj from LA outback? If so, are there more like it on the site?

  • This didge comes from a friend of mine in Sydney who sold it to me in about 2001. He sold it cheap with the deal that if I ever sold it we would go halves. i'm never going to sell it :). Strangely enough he asked me about it yesterday! I saw some very good didges at LAOutback when I was there last year. Barry and Mark know what is a good playing stick and what isn't so trust their judgements.

  • This alone has just persuaded me to get a Didgeridoo. It should be arriving in the post soon :)

    incredible.

  • How?

  • When exactley do you breethe??!

    Awesome playing!

  • In two places...its a standard and straight forward didge riff apart from the horn sections. I breathe on or just after the horn or on the second part of the main didge rhythm phrase.

  • just seeing this for the first time - wow, what incredible speed & stamina! I've got a bit more practice to do LOL!!

  • one word...inspirational

  • I can totally picture a cartoon train cruising along pushing out its little puffs of smoke. Once again a crazy performance. Thank you!

  • That's fucking fast man!

How can you breathe properly x___X

  • The tricky bit is the two horn sections. Breathing just after the horn is the only way to do that. The rest is a straight forward rhythm and all I can say is practice, clean livin', and good exercise make a good didge player. :)

  • @caralhosvosfodam outpop I think :)

  • Fantastic Mate lol Hot Air

  • At the end you should do the old Boxcar Willie train whistle. You are the didge master bud.

  • Holy shit, thats fast!

  • Hi nano

Its mostly strong breathing with a bit of tongue. The technique for this didge rhythm is mostly straight 4rwd. The hardest part is breathing on every horn note in the two sections where I play the horn. There is a bit of technique, but its mainly good stamina that comes into play and I think I owe that to walking up and down mountains. The highly technical bits cannot be played only by front mouth didge playing(tounge without breath). Its very breath focused.

    Mike J. Hope this helps.

  • look at his belly its not moving!! How'd u manage to do this ? Tell me im dying to know plz)

  • Lots of hiking produces good lungs!

  • well i dont think its lungs, i think its a tongue...

  • maybe toungeS (plural) ???

    lol

  • Although it's repetitive, it has awesome hypnotic qualities...you're a phenomenal player :0)

  • faster!

  • i have found my new idol!

  • jeeeeeeeesus ... what a speed ... how many tongue you have ... boooooooooow ... or did you turned up the video speed? ;) great!!

  • Super!! Greetz from Belgium!!

  • Hi Jacko,

    Great stuff!

    Love you and your playing!

    Loads of Love,

    Lies

  • 5 Star!! thanx mate!

  • G'day everyone. KindVapour and Jostaley, although I do play this piece fast, my primary aim is for structure, control, direction and fluidity. I can replicate the structure of all my tracks every time. I owe Steam Train to Dutch Didge players who liked the technique and out of their enthusiasm the arrangement grew. If you want to see me playing something slow (but again, with structure) look up Didjeridu Dingo on youtube. Feel free to ask me anything.

    Kind Regards, Jacko

  • g'day mike ,please post your bands web address.

    Richard
