lol my girl told me she got an orgasm in the concert i was like wow babe ho shit lol she had to run to the restroom and i went with her we got naughty lol missed like 23 minutes of the concert lol my friend recorded it lots of fun my girl loves Johny she got so horny she wanted sex right there lol
well, im guessing you're talking about pink floyd. lol. well jonny has said that he is influenced by meddle. they don't really say that they don't listen to them, they just say that they aren't influenced by them. but lucky sounds a hell like pink floyd.
i think i know what he's referring to. check out al gore's doc about global warming "an inconvenient truth" and listen to what he has to say about europe freezing over.
All I'm saying is that they can't be referring to something Al Gore said 5 years before he said it. So I'm guessing someone else said it earlier and they're referring to that
yeah they like pink floyds earlier stuff, especially meddle, but dont like the later, more popular 'prog rock' of dark side, animals, the wall etc. which happen to be my favorite pink floyd albums. does this mean me and jonny cant be friends???
really?! i totally thought they were into Pink Floyd but i never realized i can hear it but i never thought i thought it was just more droney stuff lol
But they're both my favorite bands, and I totally see it...maybe not in the actual music that much, but in pushing the limits musically, and in using the new tech's in the music.
i didnt mean to cause pain i just thought it the only useful analogy for this situation mind u i cant think of a better word to discribe some of their songs cause it doesnt mean anything bad about the songs it just sounds like that at certain points
Thanks for posting this- love Optimistic- had never seen live before. When was this from? Presumably just after Kid A release sometime in late 2000..and before Amnesiac in 2001..?

Thom Yorke doesn't dance, he visually represents the energy in the music.

@BruisedEyeSockets that is exactly what dancing is.

Radiohead should re-record Kid A live in the studio with diffrent arrangements. Thom Yorke voice sound so much more powerful in this.
and Steve Albini should record it, with Nigel engineering.
maxsmodels 2 years ago

Steve Albini would be perfect.

@maxsmodels This is a terrible idea, Kid A is the best album I've ever heard, and I listen to ALOT of different music.

Is it just me or is Colin playing more funky than usual in this version of Optimistic?
muzzilaneous 2 years ago 4
possibly, it does sound great in this version. i think it might just be his tone, much brighter than the album.

glitchesandglitter 3 years ago
so they're referring to a documentary that didn't come out till 5 years later?
andrewsurtees 3 years ago 6
yeah, but al gore didn't invent the information in that movie did he?
glitchesandglitter 3 years ago 3
well that's arguable lol.
All I'm saying is that they can't be referring to something Al Gore said 5 years before he said it. So I'm guessing someone else said it earlier and they're referring to that

well yeah, Global Warming isn't just a recent problem, its been a problem for decades. Its just not getting media attention until now.

*Global Climate Change* is mislabeled as Global Warming by media.
Just saying... The warming is only one aspect of what has been happening in our degradation of the earth.
Not disagreeing with you though. By any means.
