thankyou for sending me a email, my family has long but moved ,i live in indianapolis indiana now and i go upthere to see friends and my old places ,mostly the lake, i used to go to the beach by lake shore deli, stot one maybe i can't remember the stop but spent every summer day down there from time i was a baby 1963 to 1986 had to move just no jobs were there . i miss the fishing and beach i bet we have met on the pier since my mom and dad loved to fish. he was a skinny italian man
I remember picnics on the beach with Mom and my brother, and digging in the sand until we reached water. Kinder, gentler times. Thanks for the memories!
In the '50s we had next door neighbors on 2nd Street named August ("Gus") and Dorothy Fabian. Any relation?
Thanks for the memories! The Fabian kids grew up there about the same time My Grandfather immigrated there in 1923 with my 3 year old Father. Thanks again!

Excellent video. I wish M.C. was like that now. It's too bad our local government doesn't think the same...........

I grew up near Hilltop Ave, a 5 minute slow walk from that very same beach. I miss my hometown, ty.
