This actually makes me tear up. Even to this season, I still miss Kutner. He was my favorite. One of the greatest. Although, he screwed up at times, he had the greatest ideas, besides House, of course. If you watch the 4 episodes prior to Kutner's death, you will see, all of the cases were solved due to one of his ideas. ;-;

It was also to show House's compulsive nature to figure out the puzzle. He hadn't seen any signs from Kutner indicating depression or that he would be commiting suicide. So it was a shock to him and why he tried so hard to uncover why.

His suicide was such a sham. He was probably the happiest person on the whole set of characters, probably the most stable one too. Just coz he took a job at the WH and the script had to be edited to fit his "death", they made him commit suicide. Every suicidal person gives away some subtle signs, if not anyone else House would have definitely noticed. There was NO reason for him to commit suicide. He should have been run over by a car or killed in a parasailing accident etc. RIP Kutner <3

I think it's more likely that his suicide was more to do with his other acting commitments than any kind of meaning to the show.

Was utterly random, there were absolutely no signs of it before hand - it pissed me off.

If anyone should have commited suicide it should be 13 - she has a reason to - to avoid years of torment with Huntingdon's in future.

But I wouldn't want them to do that either - seeing as she's one of the hottest women on the planet.

@tjbayliss EXACTLY! I'm so glad I found one soul on this planet who agrees with me, everyone else seemed to be happily convinced that "sometimes theres no reason". Thirteen was on the verge of giving up on herself in the episode in which House and a bunch of patients and personnel were held hostage, she was letting herself be experimented by all kinds of drugs for the benefit of the kidnapper. Finally she realized she wanted to live.

The reason he left was beause he got a job with te US government, which is why they did not film his suicide, although in the last episode of season 5 he made a guest appearance which is to be his last. He will e sorrily missed on House M.D and due to his character's death they have wiped out the rest of House's new team and reverted back to the old one, Chase 1, Chase 2(Cameron) and Foreman.
