i think he was bored when he made this video, look at his face...its like "i just woke up and im bored, so im making this vi of me playing guitar" xD good job, and love jackson guitars, i think there the best
Maybe it was shred light or I have a different view on the term shred but a few places with fast picking I did do and as far as finger tapping I seldom rarely never do that not even in this video. Not a style I dig very much. I do agree after watching that its pretty much pentatonics. I must do another video as I can do alot less but I never trained scales for scales sake.
Wow I've never in my life seen a custom shop rhoads that I didn't like until I saw this one. Something about the logo on the headstock, and the smaller inlays doesn't fit right with the eyes.
I might ad that I never cared for the cost of getting what I want and cheaper guitars were never my favorites. It had to be the real deal. With Fender it turned out differently to my Jackson but that's another video.
To me I had to find guitar and the tones to my liking. Inspired by Kirk Hammett's Rhoads in Cliff'em'all I looked for one and the most liking was the Original Rhoads PCS Players Choice. Pickups could be changed later and gold/brass hardware was just as cool. I never got around to change anything so its still 99% stock. For the heavy tones again Metallica was the culprit so any Mesa amp I came across which were few did not have that kind of gain untill I found the Quad pre amp.
I paid roughly 4600$ back then. No Jacksons really in Denmark so catalogs only and I just decided after 2-3 years to order it and find a job. This guitar fits me from day 1 and the dreaded GAS syndrome kind of stopped. A few other guitars got bought too but sold on even a Gibson Les Paul custom historic 2001. I never thougt of getting rid of this one so on all accounts yes it was worth it
so like how much did this guitar cost cause im thinking of getting a good rhoads from jackson myself and was it worth it?im currently playing a dean and im not satisfied with the sound and the feel .
