You think so? Haha I've been wanting to get a new camera for a while because of how BAD this one is XDDD We use a normal small point and shoot camera currently, though we really want a camcorder or at least a better camera . We use a Sony Cyber-shot DSCW55. That model is YEARS old though and is probably only about $80 now ($500 when I bought it >.< ugh ) I would suggest getting a Nikon point and shoot camera though for better quality.

I cosplayed as Misa once while my friend cosplayed as Light and we both went to the mall and ended up handcuffed together while playing against each other on DDR. lol And one of my friends who was cosplaying as L at the time yelled out "Misa sucks at DDR!" It's not easy dancing while being handcuffed. xD

Believe me, once you start into cosplay, there will be more than just your parents who think you are crazy XD But you get used to it, and soon you learn to crave the stares people give you :P And besides, if cosplaying is something you want to do and love, no one should stop you just because its different.

Just tell your parents at least you aren't going out and doing drugs or anything XDD
