I am not sure what people are going on about with Indian descent and other things. According to everything i have ever read, Cleopatra was a Greek/Macedonian. Alexander was the same. There is also the theory that the remains of Cleopatra's entire family were all in a family mausoleum, with Egyptian Hieroglyphs at her father's grave reading "Trail Blazer". It is almost impossible to identify stray remains found in rivers, etc, dating back 2000 years. It's even difficult to prove remains from 215 years ago, such as supposed remains of Louis XVII.

I am not sure what people are going on about with Indian descent and other things. According to everything i have ever read, Cleopatra was a Greek/Macedonian. Alexander was the same. The reason for Alexanders desire for conquering India was for conquest. If Marc Antony had lost to some African Dynasty why had he fought in Actium? Succession to the throne, as in first born, second born child and/or order of descendants, was described with a term that also meant marriage, in other parts of Africa. @Xforeverlove21 Alexander's ancestry, bloodline is from India, thus his vested interest in India. Cleopatra is from an Egyptian ancestry. They are from two different dynasties, they were not related.

@TenshiTamagoKidd15 Arsinoe was Cleopatra's youngest sibling; She was one of three children. Cleo never married her brother, the middle child. He was heir to the throne should Cleopatra pass away before claiming the throne upon their father's death. Her father was a well respected King, considered very wise in those days. Cleopatra was one of the greatest Queens on record. She was attempting to make Egypt into a Democracy, superior to Roman democracy. She and Elizabeth I are my favorite Queens.

@StarQualityWins i just watched somthing on the history channel called "Cleopatra: Portrait of a Killer" and cleo had her 10 year old brother killed in an invasion she also poisoned her youngest brother and had her 15-17 year old sister arsinoe killed in front of the Artemis temple/. shes not as nice as u think. you should look that documentary up its really good. so sad that her siblings were true to eygpt while cleo was just a power hungry slag

@TenshiTamagoKidd15 That's a new one. In no way is that true. The school of thinking that condones those translations is irrational. Cleopatra's brother was a warrior in Marc Antony's Army. Arsinoe was considered a family stronghold. Cleopatra would have appeared to have full support of her family. She killed no one. She was a woman of greatness. She was the inspiration for the Wonder Woman comic portrayed by Lynda Carter in the 1970's. She believed in freedom and justice, and wanted democracy.

@TenshiTamagoKidd15 "Prove" is a strong word. A stone tablet or papyrus can only be proof, if translated correctly. Most of these documentaries are based on interpretations that are hundreds of years old or more. The interpretations themselves are ancient enough to be open to interpretation! It's all rather "little red riding hood", fable, not anything rational enough to be concrete evidence of anything.

@StarQualityWins if this is true why was arsinoe's remains found in turkey if she wasnt banshied then hm? and when they discovery these bones they were NOT fully developed they were only between the ages 15-17. and why was poltemys remains found in the nile if he was in antonys army? i do not belevie cleo the 7th was that good of a queen like how you all make her out to be.

@TenshiTamagoKidd15 The only human remains that archeologists can feel 99% sure about, are the mummified remains in marked tombs. There is also the theory that the remains of Cleopatra's entire family were all in a family mausoleum, with Egyptian Hieroglyphs at her father's grave reading "Trail Blazer". It is almost impossible to identify stray remains found in rivers, etc, dating back 2000 years. It's even difficult to prove remains from 215 years ago, such as supposed remains of Louis XVII.

@StarQualityWins still the does not explain the fact the bones found were of a 15-17 year old, the bone fragments were also close to that of cleo. are you also saying that the bones they found of cleo arent hers aswell? theres even scripters of ceaser himself stating how he sparied arsinoe's life and sent her to the artimis temple IN Turkey! cleo had her banished the romans thought it was wrong to kill her since she was so young. therefore ceaser sent arsinoe to turkey, she was murdered
