After watching this film several times a day, for several days, it wasn't until months later a little question that was forever in the back of my mind was answered...I always wondered how the offer to drive Anne home came about...then I saw it! The Captain leaned in and whispered to his sister...it was better than Christmas morning for me..Such a great film...for those of us who love these types of films, are we not thankful for all the great men...
i love watching scenes where the characters say something - like making little chitchat, yet their expressions and body language say something entirely different :)
I would've slammed the door on Mr. Elliot when he bursts in, blamed it on the drafts, then continue talking to Wentworth. :) Best Austen man.... ever.
Not fair! every woman should have a Wentworth in her life! instead quite the opposite happens. We only find men who change opinion like they change underwear! arghhh! haha
Oh god this whole movie is so wonderfully frustrating - Sally and RPJ do this kind of brit reservedness thing sooo well, you just want to yell at them JUST JUMP ON EACH OTHER WILL YOU?
And Rupert, oh Rupert, perfect casting, great bit of thespin' and corr blimey... he is FIT.
Aaaannnd right there is where I start balling ... every time. I mean I cry pretty much through the entire movie, but that's where I really start acting like a weepy little girl. XD
All the music is from the movie score, the soundtrack was composed by Martin Phipps. He's amazing also did the new Sense and Sensibility and Northand South. Check out "I've seen Hell" on of my favorites!!!
This has to be oe of my most favorite scenes in any movie...I was screaming and crying. "Kiss her you fool" Damn that Mr. Elliot. They had great chemistry didn't they?
What a thing to say, he laid himself out there so raw for her opinion and answer.
This is oe of my fav scenes in the film ive just bought it off the internet and cant wait for it to come this is soo sweet you really expect them to kiss
Damn you Mr. Elliot!

OMG when he looks at her 1.12 to 1:18. He looks like he is in a trance. What a man he is. This is so romantic. Sigh.....

I love this scene. The music changes at 54 and becomes so perfect for the scene. Does anyone know what music it is? Thanks for posing this.
