I was lucky enough to have a skating party here when I was younger, plus my Nan and I would skate here every Friday night. Good times!!! What I would give to skate here again!
I can still smell it! And I still have blisters on my feet. Those pillars have the bloodstains of hundreds of kids that wiped out against them. Remember the Long sisters? They were awesome. "What kind of soda do you want?" I always liked the Happy Birthday with no name inserted. Thanks again.
I remember in 1988 they had the closing night and all tickets were real cheap. When the old owners sold it, the new openers took over and the place was never the same again.
That was the slickest rolling rink floor that I had ever been on. Place is historical !
Remember the little old lady, we called mom. She would haller at everone.
