The outer barrel... Is it metal?? The weight of that silencer... I own a guarder SOCOM 16mm threaded silencer atm and I want to know what SOCOM I can put it on, but it has to have metal threads. So a socom really. (marui nbb im thinking and have it as a spare silencer) Cheers.

@etnieskid1234 airsoft atlanta has two of them for $159. look up mk23 click on the magazine for it then go to the bottom of the page and you will see a may we suggest part and you will see the item. you can also call them and order it. im buying mine today from a guy off craigslist for $100 and it comes with with a gas glock 17 kwa. good luck bro hope this helped

The silencer is aluminum right? So, What if it was shot by a gun with 450+ FPS,,would it dent or something?

@ThomasArsenalFc I highly doubt it would dent... Its pretty high quality plastic and aluminum.. It would have to be of really weak quality to take damage like that unless it was point blank full auto or something, and then even then I dont think it would dent/break.

It definitely dents. Although it is a fairly durable aluminium, the fact still remains that it's aluminium. Meaning that it dents. Mine was shot by another TM SOCOM Mk. 23 and it dented it.

To ic3L3rd: I have both guns and I prefer the P226 as a sidearm. It has a nice kick to it, decent range, and great ergonomics. But I will admit, I have used the socom as a primary in night games and CQB. They both work great, so it's just a matter of personal choice.

you don't know what airsofting is, do you? It's military simulation. Playing tactical simulation games with about 50-100 people. You cant shoot eachother with real guns. It's not a waste of money. That pistol is jut about te best on the market.

It's a sport.buddy. It's fun collecting replicas and playing around in the backyard or playing in a military simulation game. It's fun.

Also,the US Army and Marines use airsoft as training weapons. They also play for fun too.

they're both good choices, but if you want more reliability and gas economy get this.

if you want more realism, a smaller and heavier handgun, but less reliability, get the KWA M9.

Theres a hole at the bottom of the clip. the proper airsoft gas canisters have a needle. just put the needle in the clip and then push. this moves the top of the canister in releasing the gas into the gun. you wait for about 6 seconds with this gun and then pull it out. and thats it. Hope this helps. :)

9mm is smaller than the .45 cal, so you can carry more ammo, and less prone to jamming. and if it can still put a nice lil hole in your head who cares, it gets the job done
