Pop singers sound like synths, opera singers sound like organs and violins, Chinese music doesn't even use the same set of notes we're used to in Western music.

If you still don't like it, that's cool. Try saying you don't care for his style, rather than declaring it awful as an absolute. It's art.

@jonisafreak3 I'm gonna say an unpopular opinion here: I like AJJ better as a punk band than a folk or folk-punk band. Their energy, songwriting abilities, and sheer talent is unmatched when they play as a punk band. With their folk stuff they can make me smile or cry, with their punk stuff they can make me jump and scream. Also Knife Man has just as many acoustic songs as electric.

@punkCDsampler The new album was amazing, and if you've read any interviews with Sean about their sound, he went from funny songs to serious songs because AJJ was labeled as a comedy band, I'm thinking maybe he got tired of being called Folk Punk (which he says), and maybe, maybe thats why the sound changed. But listen to the track Big Bird off of Knife Man, probably their most beautiful song since Sense and Senseability or Who Are You?

While I don't mind Knife Man, I'm a bigger fan of their acoustic stuff. Maybe it's just the fact that, when I listen to a song, I'd rather smile or cry or think than jump and scream. Sense and Sensibility gets me every time, and I prefer the acoustic version of Heartilation.
