  • Thanks!

  • What are tabs? O.O

  • GODLIKE

  • @razormeaway

true, Shaun have the best voice!

  • I think best voice for this generation of music is Brent Smith of Shinedown in my opinion but Shaun is very good also both are very powerful lyrically

  • @SixxPM100 it's funny i saw shinedown a couple years back and they sucked, it turned me off to them for years and then i started looking some of the acoustic shit up on youtube and found a piece of my heart where i didn't even know i left it, i'm guessing they just had an off night, i do agree with you he is def one of the great ones, but let's not forget about chris cornell, jerry cantrell, there are a few but technichally speaking brent can kill shaun any day

  • @SixxPM100 speaking for myself though shaun's (seether's) music more than any other music i've ever experienced really speaks to me and has gotten me through a lot of rough times in my life, i think as a generation we have been very fortunate to have these artists to look up to even if we aren't musically inclined ourselves, PS....REO speedwagon???? srsly??? lol just messin ;)

  • I Agree with all of you Shaun morgan brings passion and energy and strength to any song and he makes people feel that there actually living the song and to all of the Shaun Morgan haters that just came to say he doesnt have a good voice fuck off of here why did u click to listen if u hate him !

  • where can I bring their accoustic shows for MP3?? if any1 knows plz tell me!

  • @spookymayyom some of there acoustic stuff is on itunes i believe and one cold night album is all acoustic

  • his voice it makes me sad but its a good song

  • This isn't his best acoustic work ever, but he's my favorite male vocalist because he keeps so much of his passion in it. Is he the best singer? Probably not. There are people who can sing circles around him. For me and much of his audience, we aren't looking for trills and a high range. We are looking for passion. Shaun Morgan delivers that better than anyone else I know. Maynard James Keenan (from Tool and APC) is exactly the same.

  • what about aaron lewis of staind. he and shaun is on the same level when it comes to passion. try checking them out too. and I agree with you. it isn't all about the thrills. it is passion that counts.

  • amazing

  • stick your 2cents worth up your ass shaun morgan vocally , is amazing. you said his voice wasnt strong enough LMAO at you . you need a strong right hook mabey then you will see sense .

  • Hes the best singer IMO. Im not into clean voices. Our people who try to hard at doing something that should come naturally.

  • I agree totally. Those three couldn't sing worth shit. But they could WRITE good shit. That matters almost more than a good set of pipes.m Brent Smith is without a doubt the best rock vocalist out there.

  • He's not a pro vocalist. So to complain about his vocals is just pointless. If you don't like his vocals, go else where. Just my "two cents." I'm not a big fan of Seether. So I could careless, just thought I should make it clear that he's just a singer-songwriter. Not a professional vocalist. :D

  • he doesn't really have any range. Someone told me he has a great voice.. but really its nothing special. Also he's not out key its that he is doesn't have a very strong voice and it shows. He needs the electric crap to fill it all in.

Gavin Degraw could sing acapella all day.. there's a good vocalist.. just my .02 cents.

  • shove ur two cents up ur ass, if you don't like it then jog off.

  • how the fuck can you say this man doesn't have a strong voice? are you seriously fucking kidding me? his voice epitomizes strength and passion....idiot!

  • yes, he does have a VERY powerful voice. hence why your comment has +16.

@whoever you replied too its acoustic, not supposed to be powerful.

  • @holdmeimscary same thing is said about a lot of singers..Brent Smith from Shinedown, and Kevin Cronin from REO Speedwagon are some examples both of which and including Shaun Morgan are some of my favorite vocalists ever! period I back you up 100% man!

  • but i still like it :O

  • !!!!!!! ****Amazing**** !!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome Song! that's all I have to say!

  • If anyone has this in MP3 format, please be sure to tell me!

  • hey man just enjoy the song and stop bitchin about stuff.

  • everytime someone on youtube heres something that sounds off to them they automatically call it out of key. I agree he sings the song wayyyyyyyy different then on the studio version with the layered vocals but I don't hear anything that is off key in here except for maybe a second or so before the interlude kicks in.

  • I agree. He can't sing off key. It's his song. He can do wat he wants with it. lol

  • i hate people that when you just just say ur opinion are like shut the fuck, suck it bitch, yeah.... I kinda agree with yo comment its not even bad its true

  • ugggghhhh...houston??? how could i have missed dat!!!!!!!!!!!! i live like 20 minutes away from houston!!!!!!!!!!grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

  • well, they only did this for the buzz, so you had to have a special pass, im sure. i wish i coulda gone too. i went to concert following though.

  • I wonder if this song was written about Amy Lee?

  • Nope, Shaun said in an interview he has never and wont ever make a song about her, as he doesnt want to stoop down to her level. (:

  • Just so you and everyone else knows. Technically, that is not what he said. In most interviews ( as some time exact answers change ) he said he will never write a derogatory song about their relationship as he doesn't want their past relationship just to become some kind of media frenzy. However, this song is not derogatory. It is more a simple question. Why did you do that? Why did you break me down like that? I am more than you know.

  • you should really go back to school or something. it's not about "why did you do that? why did you break me down like that?" in fact he never poses a question in the song. he's saying he is simply immune to her antics, but if she wants to do it, then go ahead... but just know that he's above it, and she'll never really understand him

  • Way to start out by telling me to go back to school, yet you are too lazy to perform basic grammar. I was basing my hypothesis ( which is what ANY of this is ) on a lot of things..not just the song. You need to look into interviews as well and see what he says about both the song, and the relationship. He has said in many interviews that it comes down to him that he just wonders why their relationship had to be brought to a derogatory song about him.

  • Hence, "Why are you breaking me down". Don't be a jackass your entire life.

  • you're an idiot. you ought to read the lyrics, and then please point me to one line that possibly could be construed to be a question. it's stupid little emo kids like yourself that need to go slit your wrists so the rest of the world doesn't have to put up with your bs.

  • I don't have to read the lyrics. I know the band, band history, lyrics and song meanings ( ones that have been released ) like the back of my fucking hand. I drew my hypothesis ( know what that means kid? ) by past references made by the band. Honestly though, what is the big difference between, "Why did you break me down" and "Break me down, I don't care". I believe they BOTH are apart of this song ( as I stated ).

  • I believe you are the emo kid..getting pissy over something you or I know nothing about as we didn't write the song. Go jump off a cliff please.

  • I'm just letting you know that you are 100% incorrect with your analysis. Given that you're a failure with such simple song analysis, I can be pretty sure that you fail at life too.

  • I am just letting you know that you can sign up to suck my nuts anytime you would like. Which, I have a feeling is quite frequent.

  • my favorite song by them....and it's just as good acoustic...sweet

  • that song that band the music they do ITS JUST AWSOME.... I cannot stop listening to them and i will be there fan 4 ever and ever.....

Seether is the most talentet live band ever and Shoun has a best voice in the hole world

    Seether 4 ever

  • Yeah, the One Cold Night is almost to good to be true... and 100% live, awesome.

  • lol i saw the Pic of the video before i clicked it and im like wtf they played this song in 05/06?

  • yeah, me too ;D

  • two words FUCKING AMAZING

  • I gotta five star and favorite this, this is just amazing. If anyone in Houston listens to the buzz they know seether, but I've listened to the acoustic for fake it and this blows it away I must say this is just amazing.

  • This a great great song m8 love it....

  • WOW! 10,000+ views. Thanks everyone. Seether is amazing! If anyone wants to discuss Seether with me, you're more than welcome.

  • seether is the shit, dont wannna have it

  • Onlivenous is right, i live in adelaide SA and u hardley find some one that listens to seether like we do or barely listen to seether at all u know! And i agree with seether18 Everything Shaun sings is so meaning full an beautiful and his screamo songs fuckin kick ass.. i think they will be one of the biggest band yet to come.

  • dude!i agree 100% the lyrics r meaningful to every1...i can relate to pretty much all his songs..shaun is like a god waiting to me heard ya know?

  • Agreed. I am pretty sure I have heard every song by seether. And all their versions. xD I love Seether my fave band.

  • With nothing but respect to Kurt Cobain and all the other all-time greats who will never be forgotten, Shaun has the most powerful lyrics and the most meaningful melodies of anyone i've ever seen.

  • I agree! I don't think they'll ever be one the great or biggest bands on the planet, but these songs are so meaningful that I don't think they're meant for a large crowd, only for those that understand it. that's why I love this band. I mean.. Nirvana has great songs but this has 10 times better lyrics without disrespect!

  • @seether18 Couldnt have said it better myself. Shaun is one that comes along once in a life time. One of a few great talents that touch every emotion in so many of us. It just does'nt get any better than Seether .

  • Well of course alot of what Kurt sang about was alot from his childhood. So yeah in a sense I guess it would seem that the phrases were just put together because they rhymed. But alot of it was twisted metaphoric poetry. I read his biography that had bits and pieces of his Diary as a child. There are alot of things he wrote in it that help to tie the songs to actual sensual thoughts and meanings. But still I agree, some of them are out there :P

  • spelled shaun

  • great stuff shauno! u make us all in SA so proud!!! never forget the red, black and white!

  • Shawun has one of the best powerful hard rock voices today i think.

  • I totally agree

  • any comparisons between Shaun and Kurt (RIP) are nothing but high praise to me. personally, i think Shaun is a little better singer than Kurt, but you can neeeever take anything away from what Nirvana did; they live on through Dave Grohl, their body of work, and all of us that loved them...

  • i agree on all fronts think about it people did you ever understand kurt songs no they DONT make sense (i am not hating on at all in fact i love his songs but two plain and simple facts are one you couldnt understand him when he sang and the songs didnt make sense they were just phraises put together to rhyme

  • definitely understand what you saying, but that's true poetry in some ways. ...phrases that sometimes rhyme instead of ALWAYS following a formula. he did sometimes not make sense, but there are classic poems that since the artist died NO ONE knows what the true meaning is; and we'll never know. but it's cool 'cause you can pick at everything, but you just can't deny the artist's license; yes? ...definitely agreeable and viable opinion tho...

  • definitely agree but the ones the crack me up are

"sell the kids for food weather changes mood "

but you are right there is poetry in it. . .. . somehwhere lol.

i will say this as well what i think shaun brings to the table is to me real emotion in his songs. like you feel how is was feeling in the songs. like "tied my hands" i think thatis what i like about him so much

  • dude; i have seen countless shows, many of whom i have been lucky to say "i saw that legend", but without a doubt (as a musician and a fan of MANY different genres of music) Seether is not only one of my all-time favorites but one of the most UNDERRATED bands to ever make music. ever. it's odd to me; Seether has been so good for so long now but it's like people just WANT to dislike them! that's cool, it'll just drive them to be better and better. their last album? their best so far in my mind.

  • I'm the exact same... my first concert was Peter Frampton at 2 years old, I'm 19 now. I've gone to shows from Page/Plant to Black Label Society, Garth Brooks to Iron Maiden, Kiss to Ludacris lol! and while Seether live wasn't the very best show I've seen, I've seen some pretty damn good concerts. Anyway they are my favorite band of today. My top three are Nirvana, Pantera, and Seether, so...

  • Seether IS quite underated... One Cold Night is one of the best live albums ever in my book (it's acoustic but it's still live), right there with Frampton Comes Alive and Pantera's Official Live Proof 101...etc. Just remarkable... and it shows just how great they are. I'm not sure if I could pick a favorite album though, I guess overall in concept and everything it would be FBINS...

I second what seether18 said, except mines a little more of "with the exception of Kurt"... but that's just me

  • that's excellent, bro; FBINS IS great. my first concert when i was really young was the Jackson 5 World Tour of all things!! LOL!! ya know; when he still kinda wasn't trying to be an alien, right before he lit his Jheri Curl on fire i think. HAHAHA! just introduced my nephew to his first show; ZZTop. it's great you have an OPEN MIND to see such a wide variety of music and i can honestly say that you have me beat pretty hardcore by your first show being Frampton at freakin' 2! that's COOL; man.

  • LOL well I've got my parents to thank for that, they were hippies so I was raised on some cool music... the Jackson 5 thing is something to tell though lol! That's funny! ZZ Top is a cool first, did he like them? No joke I saw them twice within this past year... in October or something and then again on May 15th. They're so funny when they dance lol! Anyway well yeah "good music is good music", I think when you see music as an art rather than just entertainment you become more appreciative...

  • he seems to have the same passion for music as Kurt (RIP), which kicks ass; even better to see them live. i think, personally, he is just a little bit better of an overall singer than KC, but you can never take anything away from Nirvana. ...and any comparisons, i think, are just compliments to both...

  • One of the best song of Finding_Beauty_In_Negative_Spaces!!

  • I love these guys. He's got such a strong voice. They kick some fuckin ass live.

  • wtf gr8 song maybe the best in finding beauty see u in paris

  • I've been looking for this song acoustic. Fuckin awesome.

  • i think he has an excellant voice sometimes he reminds me of kurt

  • very nice...

  • Man, I was going go post this one! lol Sweet job.
