plz help i own a go kart with an 8 hp brigs and it has 15 inch whells so the clutch dont work and i cant afford a tourqe convertor so i was wondering if i drill holes through the clutch and put pins in it whuold it be fine oth the motor liek when i start it have it on low idle then jump in and go
@tylerthej3w I would suggest not for 2 reasons: 1) smaller wheels / tires mean less unsprung mass --> more responsive suspension. 2) less lateral torque on suspension --> retains settings mid-corner. You can roll over bigger shit and take bigger hits with beasties but if you don't need that I wouldn't go that big. The beauty of this car is in the lightness and strength of its suspension, and big tires hurt both.
