oh lol back then it was expensive to make cartages so one mario game would cost around $60 thats why many people buying games in the U.S. were really rich and nintendo had many stores around america

The third party games were always more expensive. Maybe Square's involvement in SMRPG drove the price up.

The effort in this is amazing. This is before very proficient CGI, which means all the clay animation in this commercial was hand-sculpted, including the tree that sprouts a perfect 3-D clay model of the logo.
