My brother and I are trying to connect to play a LAN game of The Legend of Zelda Fours Swords, and my laptop connects fine, but when he tries to use the IP address to connect it says error number 11004 and he cannot connect to my server. I can get internet play to work with Four Swords and you are correct there is lag, however it is not my pc. Emulator is running at 56% on both computers, this desktop that is the server is quite the beast. So my question is how would one lessen the lag? faster internet? I'm pretty sure this is connection based since I tested it online with 2 computers in the same house.

it isnt the distance

its because of the difference between comps

the other comp is fast the other not

so if ur comp is fast and the other not that wil lead to slowdown of ur gameplay aswell or else it would de synch

Officially, VBA Link does not support Zelda: Four Swords!

This is the main reason that it usually will not work. However, it can still be played.

Still, it won't work sometimes.

Well, yes and no.

Some ROMs are just renamed based on their storage location in the website or based on advertising. Any renamed file is OK with a differently named one, as long as the contents are the same.
