  • where else besides ebay can i get these things :)

  • Wow awesome

I have a spiny flower mantis and love to watch it eat but this is awsome

  • I just ordered a Ghost Mantis, I read that they only get to be two inches, but I've seen several videos which the Ghost Mantis appears to be a good 3-4 inches. How big is this one?

  • how old can one get ?

    ( from baby on ... )

  • I have been told that Ghosts live for around a year.

However, she had her first birthday in August last year, so shes had an extra 6 months now already and shes still going strong. She's laid 14 Ooths now too, unfortunately she ate the male before they were adults! so they are all infertile.

  • nice mantis m8 i'm getting a pair of ghost's myself been reading that they get along ok as long as food is plentiful wanted to know if there is any truth to this =]

  • Hi, yes they do seem to be ok with each other, even when food was scarce ( I didnt have time to go to the pet shop for more food one week!)

BUT, one was shedding its skin, right next to a sibling, who looked to one side and then ate it! They had got on together for about a year before that happened!

  • they arrived yesterday, very tiny when they start like uber mini-mantis XD there sooo tiny looking like some hybrid ant or supm hehe just over a centi-metre feeding of fruit flies and very small cricketts i think i bought a cage too big for em but i'll just have to split it in two for the moment any tip's for looking after them when young? they like to hang upside down alot aswell :p

  • She was an ebay buy about a year ago. I had 4, one died of unknown causes, one shed its skin RIGHT next to a sibling, who immediately ate it! and the other pulled itself in half doing its final skin moult to adult -hood.

Shes the only one left, and shes layed ooths all over her enclosure, all of which will be infertile, so no babies for me this year!

  • where did u get her?
