i like the shirt too..but i dig the model more. FOD is such a cutie. whatta dream girl. beautiful, gun loving, bilingual, ass kicking, future MD...!!! what else could you ask for.??
I still have to wait it out with the Nano cuz I saw the video of 1000 shots no lube no FTE no FTF but I aldo seen videos where people have had hiccups with their Nano at the range. Have u had any bad experiences wit your Nano?.
What no dancing??? Gee, I just do not know what to say about that. Ok, Cool video and awesome shirt. So, like have you considered selling any of those shirts? Now that was an interesting way to take down the Nano but cool. I do hope to see you shooting the Nano some more..?? Hey, what was that a lever action rifle? Oh, so, like, ummm, when are you going to show more on the lever action rifle? Way cool video, but it needs dancing...Way to to Destinee...Great video!
Awesome t-shirt FOD, big improvement from the girly stuff last time... no pun intended! That Barretta Nano is near identical to the Sig Sauer P250 9mm Sub Compact I just bought this past weekend including the internal steel chasy w/ SN. The only major diference between the 2 is the stock magazine capacity is 12+1 for 9mm, and the pin to remove the slide is a lever for the Sig. Simple rack the slide & use a ambidextrious lock lever to hold it in place before rotating the lock lever on the slide.
@FateofDestinee I own a fullsize PX4 Storm in .40 (I love it, the PX4 series is a smooth shooter if you haven't had a chance to plink with one). The grip texture look identical. At first I was concerned about the Nano's sorta "slippery" look, but can you confirm that, like on my PX4, the texturing looks tame but is actually surprisingly aggressive and easy to hold?
I'm a Beretta fan but the Nano leaves me a bit cold. At first I was really enthusiastic but numerous reports of FTE malfunctions with anything less than the hottest ammo brings into question the overall utility. In general, smaller guns need more practice than bigger ones due to their increased recoil. If the Nano is only reliable with heavier premium loads, costs go up as does recoil. Parts will wear faster too. These issues aren't limited to the Nano either. They're common among small autos.
@MessIahmake I'm considering a Kahr CM9 for one of my CCW options in addition to the Nano. I'm glad there are so many models out there from which I can choose. And thanks for the support haha I knew that vid wasn't going to please everyone, but I make the vids that I enjoy, and I thought it might be "different" enough to stick the gun safety message in someone's head, you know?
I don't know much about guns...I thought you did a good job explaining the gun, and I liked your t-shirt but I couldn't help but notice your nail polish on this video with your hands being so close up. I like the 60 second DRY bottles. Easy on, easy off.
Really enjoyed the video, but really like the shirt that you are wearing(that you designed). Was wondering if you are going to be selling them. I would be very interested in this shirt. Hope you have fun at the Shot Show
Another great video from fateofDestinee. Thanks for your vids and replying to my comments on previous vids, its really cool that one of my fav youtube celebrities actually reads my comments.
it's a Winchester um um 1894? i think maybe! and I liked your stop motion dancing video! It was entertaining! How do you contact a company to get them to let you test there gun though? I would love to do that because at this point i'm paying for everything which limits my options! I assume that's how everyone starts!
@FateofDestinee "wonderful, goofy cable lock the nobody uses." Haha. I hear that. The guy at the gun store told me not to use it. By the way, what's that circular cup looking thing that was between the spare magazine and the pistol?
Hmmmm….I think recognise the mystery rifle. It appears to be a FoD special edition known as the Zombie Destroyer. It’s also very effective at stopping renegade sandwiches too. I heard that it was going to be unveiled at SHOT show.
That shirt ya got on there looks evil. What happened to you!!! You used to be so nice!!! Haha I'm just screwin with ya, cool design.... and I don't know what the hell gun that is but it's an old school lever action and I like it
DES! I wanted to see you dance! Nice gun anyway, looks almost exactly like my Glock 27...but harder to break down! I guess they had to make some things different eh? Great video just the same, thanks for sharing!
You look somewhat.... Older in this vid... Hmmm... Lol! Well that just proves my suspicion that Beretta had to jump on the Glock band wagon. That recoil spring is an exact copy of the Gen 4 Glock spring. Great vid as always Dest!
Good video. The Nano looks very top-heavy. I can see where the muzzle flip comes from with that large chunky slide up there. I think I prefer my Glock 26, just because it looks to have a lower profile than the Nano. I've never shot a Nano, though, so I'm just going on observation.
Do you remember Hickok45 refers to the smoothness of the slide as dehorned??? He said especially with the compact or subcompact. The giants he said, it doesn’t really matter.
Ms. Destinee: Perhaps no one should be surprised at the cool designs on your 'T' shirts as you had demonstrated your artistic skills with pen and paper in a previous video... Moving on, I think the mystery rifle is a Winchester Model 94. Shame there wasn't any 'funky dancing' action in this video! Nano is nice, but, as you say, some may find the need to find things to take it apart with a nuisance, but it is clearly intended to carry a lot and shoot a little, so this is not that important.
Everyone loves to hate. And everyone hates people who shows love(on youtube). Not going to dance? You know you want to. You know we want you to. C'mon, C'mon. Ok. maybe later....
Would have to say Winchester '94, but it's probably something more exotic, no? The Sig, to me, looks more proportional in comparison, while the Beretta looks boxy and big for a compact.
beautiful job on the t-shirt, very cool. your lookin fit chicklet! training tuh be a seal? don't over do it now. ~your awesome~ look forward to more on the nano, looks like a nice little unit.
I don't know whether to purchase the Nano or wait for Sig to release their 9mm version on the P238. More than likely i'll wait to see the Sig offering, but the Nano is reasonably priced whereas the Sig probably won't be, lol. Great review Destinee.
I am not a sub-compact fan, however, you convinced me to take a closer look at those options. We will see what we see or why you should even acquire one. Oooops, I think I will stick with full size and just a wee bit smaller [compact] for the time being. Thanks for the toooo cute video! Nothing wrong with a lever action rifle either. Stay sharp and live long.
Thanks for the side by side with the P238. I think your the first one to do it. My Solo is just a hair bigger than my P238 but the Nano is HUGE in comparison to both, yet the Solo holds the same amount of rounds as the Nano
In the video's Ive seen the Nano is very impressive. With a pocket pistol that size 9mm is a handful. BTW the Glock 26 is very far from a pocket pistol as some would make you believe. More in the class of an XD subcompact or PX4 Storm subcompact. Different Ballgame.
Looking good girlfriend! I like the easy disassembly on that one. My husband has a Ruger P90 that's a real pain in the A** to take down. All my handguns are revolvers ;) c
Informative. Thanks. I'm glad you tested the waters on a dance video, because I was going to make one of me dancing in a wonder woman outfit to club music. I'm not sure how it would have been received.. Wait, yes I am. That would one of those things that people couldn't un-see.. haha
Ehh, in my opinion I'd purchase a Glock 26/27. Same size, proven ultra reliability, interchangability of magazines and barrel (.40 to 357). The Beretta seems too tall to have a natural fit in the hand. Just my opinion. Nice video Destinee.
In theory you could avoid using the pen to disassemble just by pulling the trigger like you would on a glock, right? It's just there for the obtuse who believe that dry firing a gun even after you've checked it is a cardinal sin?
My gut reaction is a winchester '94. But I'm not expert enough to tell all of the late 1800s winchesters apart.
The 2 pistols you're showing are both on my short list for CCW. I was surprised to see how much smaller the P238 is than the Nano. The third gun on my short list would be one of the smaller Khar 9mm models. Of the Beretta and Sig, which are you leaning toward for your CCW, sounds like the Sig?
Had to give this a thumbs down for no dancing, sorry.... JK!
Not sure what the mystery rifle is but since it's a lever-action I fell immediately in love.

I told you I liked the Black shirt, good pick.

i think the shirt should be made via serigraphy, not bake-on laser print sheet. you should recon print/graphic shops around you for prices.

@1:44, you didn't stick your finger in it! Afraid you'd break a nail?
You going to get those nails done before SHOT Show?

JK!

Looks like a Winchester 92. That's pretty cool that companies are sending you their arms for review!
