  • She's all woman. Look at those big, beautiful titties! WOOT. Fantastic voice, too. ;)

  • Can you believe they don't have any of her music on Itunes, she is SO under rated, its sad...i wonder if she's still performing?

  • Quite simply, Canadians rock ;)

  • @091680 -- I agree!! :)

  • I think she is one of the most underrated artists ever. 'Let it go,' 'Best is yet to come,' and 'Secrets and Sins' are my favorite songs by Luba. I also love 'How many' and 'Even in the darkest hour.' I have her album, 'Over 60 minutes with Luba' and I listen to it like all the time haha

  • I came across my cassette of ALL OR NOTHING. I forgot how much I love this ladies voice...I’m surprised my cassette still works....i definately overplayed it lol...now to get them on my computer...

  • sunshine coming through my radio!!!!

  • I think she dressed so layered to downplay her chest. She really was a full figured gal. She was really good at dancing and moving in an alluring way despite it. I love her songs, with all those Catholic under-tones in almost every song. "How many crosses to bare"?.

  • Luba did the unthinkable.... She managed to INCREASE her sexual desireabillty by masking it! Profiles of this, shapeliness of that in spins, swirly curves.... Imagination is a good thing...

  • WoW that makes me feel old

  • her second album sold 1 mil in canada. Bryan Adams is the only other artist to do that in Canada. If it wasn't for legal difficulties with the American label think how big she would have been

  • Brings back great memories to see this. Luba was one of the artists that defined the sound of Canada in the 1980's.

  • This girl can sing the lights out, and this song is beautifully produced with the gospel choir. Perfection!

  • @albertdesalvo Just imagine what Luba and Ann Wilson could've come up with...Had they worked together,,,

  • @wrxmike123 don't leave Nancy Wilson, nor Lee Aaron out of that group....

  • one of the great voices from the 80s

  • She writes the music, comes up with the poetic lyrics, and then sews it all together like some kind of magic angel.

  • Is this a math question?

  • One of our top female voices for sure right along with Celine and Anne Murray!!!!

  • Luba may be one of Canada's best music artist ever. I think she is up there with Niel Young, Red Rider, Jann Arden and Burton Cummings when it comes to talent. She may not have sold as many records, but she has real talent.

  • for some reason like the canadians and the uk artists better than the us artists. better stuff and she was someone i have liked since hs.

  • Luba has an extraordinary voice! Certainly one of Canada's underrated talents indeed. She deserves more recognition than what was given her.

  • Wow, I have been just watching Luba's many videos. I loved her in the 80's, but now I fully appreciate just how talented and beautiful she is. I love all her songs (that I've heard) and I love what her songs do to my soul. My dream is to see her in person one day. She is very underrated. But to those who do know her songs, timeless!

  • I love this song! Never get tired of hearing it. A great song by a great Canadian artist. What a voice!

  • absolutely love this song..there's no song like this one, so much zest and feel to her music she is a legend!

  • great song, remember having crush on her

  • @wade0699

    Me, too.

  • i never get tired of her. such good stuff.

  • This the answer to the mystery of music ....music is how the son of God speaks to the father.....

  • got to post a comment, i love her!! i had this on tape, of course, it's gone, thank god for win mx, i now have it again! what a voice!! so under-appreciated.. a great canadain singer who was put on the backburner, miss her voice, but, still can re live the past, thanks t you tube, and the post-ers... thanks, and.. luba, if you ever read these, you should be proud! love your voice!

  • She was so big back then. But we all forgot. There should be a statue somewhere. And a day to remember her, like the veterans.

  • Thanks to a friend of mine who can actually remember the 80's, I now too sorta remember this song... Hi Sky, or was I sky hi? Hummm any way I thank ya

  • saw luba in the mid 80's at Molson Ampitheter in Toronto, the old ampithetre, she was amazing, this song had just come out

  • I just found out yesterday she's canadian. :) Love this song. One of my favorites. Jane Child is also good.

  • @MARSHAJAN1983 Yep, she's from Montréal.

  • Just found out yesterday she's canadian. :) Love this song. One of my favorites. Jane Child is also really good.

  • Great voice and some very good songs with clever lyrics.

'No More Words'' is her best.

  • Luba is a Canadian of Ukranian descent as am I. How Many is NOT a Ukranian song at all. Luba wrote it and it was produced by Narada Michael Walden.

Luba has been divorced since 1990 from drummer, Peter Marunzak and has been writing, recording and performing since 1980.

  • This was also recorded by Lisa Hartman. The lyrics for the second verse were slightly different and there were lyrics before the bridge after the second chorus. Had great guitar solo by Waddy Watchel.

  • I saw her perform at Barrymore's in Ottawa in the very early 80's. Her voice blew me away as well as her stage presence for such a tiny little thing. But I do have to laugh as I was in a band at the time also and our drummer tried to approch her and remark on how much he enjoyed her show and she totally snubbed him.

  • first i must say,,i have met her here in bathurt,,,new-brunswick,and she was such and classy lady, now that meens she talk with me,and the pples at her concert she ain,t no stupid snobverry kind lady i love her more afther i saw the beaty inside she addd, and she is so good verry talented,iw iwish i wil see her pwerform again, its and terrible loss not too ear her sing, suonds like uplifthing sons almost gospel.simply more then one off the best.we love you luba, here in n,b bathurst

  • She is Canada's answer to Janis Joplin... Bette Midler doing The Rose movie.. such intensity, such simple power, such SOUL. What an honour to have heard Luba sing!

  • GREAT SONG!! GREAT SINGER!!

  • I didn´t know what great voice she has!

Think I knew only "Let it go"...

Awesome! I would like I could turn back time!!

  • ps: i mean shes born here, but shes Ukrainian by ancestory. therefore, technically, the song is a Ukrainian song! sung in English.

  • Comment removed

  • Ukrainian Rock Rules!!

  • Sounds alot like Partland Brothers: Soul City

    Luba ROCKS!!!

    good day!

  • Thank you, ILoveLuba! I have no Luba albums but wish that I did. YouTube provides my Luba fix for each day.:-)

  • You're not the only one that wanted to marry this beautiful woman! I saw her at Ontario Place as well in 1989,Northern Pikes opened up for her, great concert.. ahh memories!

  • She was one reason I loved being alive in the 80's. What a singer!

  • where in the caribbean does she live?

  • I alwasy thought a duet with Luba and Alison Moyet would have so damn powerful

  • I saw her in Moncton NB in the early 80's when she opened for Bryan Adams reckless tour. She was awesome.

  • This sure brings back some great memories of the Ontario Place Forum - Luba, her husband (the drummer) and the rest of her group. Scary to think that we dressed like that back in the day.

  • luba now lives in the caribian ilands and she talks to her fans on my space

  • My Favorite by LUBA - wish she would do more

  • To all you Youtubers out there!! We need to bring her back! She is so fantastic!

  • Muchas gracias por habernos traido estos videos de luba todos estan muy buenos.

  • she's has such an original voice! I wonder where she is now

  • The 80's brought you many great artists. Luba was one of them I like this song, but the song I really love is Let it go....

  • thanks for posting

  • She is one of the best female singers ever, canadian or otherwise

  • Luba is by far one of the greatest canadian singers in the history of Rock. Her astonishing songs declare once again that she still holds that special place in one of the greatest decades of all times - the wonderful 80's.

  • She looks like a woman i work with, especially the hair. (positive comment)

  • For the record, ILoveLuba2. Miss the '80s sound and she was certainly the best sounding and cutest Ukrainian girl from that era.

  • I did, too!

*Ooh, but I don't know how...* that voice! Thank you ILOVELUBA. Thank you Luba.
