You should to get a better mic, or stop editing your voice. If both of these options seem a little unnecessary to you what you can do is record your voice over multiple times until A: you get one that is perfect and doesn't change pitch randomly or B: take the best one you have and cut out the pieces that don't sound correct and replace them with the better sounding version.
Improving your audio will make a worlds difference my friend- Good luck
ok, i'm sorry, i have to comment. That video on the right was taken by Carl Welty at La Costa on hole 9 of the Tournament setup in 2000 (tough year). Pretty much every single thing this Allen fellow is pointing out about Tiger are positives. Being behind the ball with that spine angle at 2:26 gives Tiger effortless coil and power, Tiger is more connected through the ball while Foley's upper body is connected on the takeaway, but becomes disjointed at impact. PS - Foley is coaching, not playing.
This photo comparison is a reeeeeedicuuulous. At address Foley's hands are already forward and in place while Tiger has yet to complete his forward press. You can't do a realistic swing comparison from stills. Thank you, that will be all.
I have found that golf is very similar to the game of LIVING. Talk is cheap, it is the experience of doing that matters. No professional figured it out on a keyboard. In the end , the secret of the dirt is that after you follow enough "guru tips" you realize most all the pros are trying to do the same thing it just "looks" different because they are different people.
I can read a book on how to write a book, but until I actually start I won't go through the trail and error to make it good.
I think this is what my problem may very well be in my golf swing. I feel my hips dont clear in time and i become flippy through impact which in turn make me feel very inconsistant and frustrated. Take a look at my golf swing guys and tell me if you agree. thanks.
Are you seriously comparing Tiger Woods' swing to Sean Foley???? Who the hell is SF, has he won anything? You have to be joking! Foley should be trying to swing like the old Tiger, you know, the guy who used to outdrive his competitors by 30 yards and win MAJORS by 15 shots. I have seen it all now

@SuperAndre1411 What do you mean who Sean Foley is? He's Tiger's new bff coach, not a player.. (well maybe a playah like Tiger but who knows). But ya, comparing these two swings is stupid and pointless.
I'll say this much about tiger woods and sean foley. Tiger has changed his swing twice before and now for the third time. He struggled with Hank at the beginning and then went on a tear winning almost every tournament he played in. He's going through the same thing. With Tiger, we have a superior athlete that has an incredible talent for the game of golf. I think you can take any instructor with any swing philosophy and tiger will make it work for him.
For me, it just seems he needs to be strong to get back to the ball square with SF.. He seemed more fluid and comfortable. That wont change over time.. Its not right for him. I predict he will remain mediocre and will move on from SF within 2011. All this is taking away from the area of the game he is suffering most, the short game. Having said that, just imagine if he just cut the massive hitting mentality and got it in the fairway, he would be in contention every week.
@13skinsfan69 I totally agree. There are certainly some elements of S&T in what Foley teaches. Overall, it's a rotary swing. There is just a negative connotation with S&T.
Sean Foley does not teach S&T. Look at the 1:30 mark - Sean is clearly loading on to his right side (look at this right leg). S&T DOES NOT TEACH THAT - S&T teaches a lengthening/straightening of the back leg while keeping all weight on the front side.
Just because Sean Foley keeps his head centered off the ball does not mean it's stack and tilt. It's more rotational with no lateral movement.
@matthewsimone92 well whatever it is, to me it's an easier way to swing the club, with a little more weight on your left side at address....and then turning while staying centered, rather than putting the majority of your weight on the right side while loading. I've been swinging this way for about 3 years. Much easier on the back and at stronger feeling of hitting down on the ball.
Amanijeans4 - What pros do you coach and what accomplishments have they had since you've coached them????? Frankly, I would take Sean as a teacher over you any day of the week! good to know that you discovered this swing first though...NOT. You are an idiot.
FOLKS - Sean Foley only has it half right. PERIOD.
There is NO GOOD REASON to keep your weight on your forward foot via S&T.
Practice what Foley is doing from the waist up. BUT - DO NOT stay on forward foot. Instead load ( not shift ) weight into your right leg then pivot weight into forward foot.
I discovered this 'Foley' swing on my own long before I ever became aware of S&T or Foley. As someone who understands this swing intimately I can tell you with personal knowledge not to S&T. TRUTH
Zach, nice analysis. It is very important to have as un-moving a body as possible and have the left arm swing stuck to the body, going back. However, it is not the complete picture. No-one seems to have considered, EVER, that the joints of the body can only unbend and untwist in fixed planes, so going back it is important to maintain the integrity of joint movement. Do have a look at my simple explanation by typing 'Understanding Tiger's Karma' in youtube.

Comparing these 2 is useless...Tiger is not trying to copy Sean's swing. It's not supposed to be the same.

the reason tiger's club is open at the top is because he is clearly hitting a fade with the kind of finish he has on this swing

@Lugzeh I hear that vader has a 9 hole on the 37th deck of his super star destroyer.
