wrong, audi depriciate quicker than bmw, mercedes. Only the high spec audi... RS4,6,8 dont depriciate as quick but they still take any heavier residual knock when compared to its german rivals(bmw, merc). I would assume this would be the same in any country as BMW and Mercdes are a far superior car in build, design and function. Audi are still running Front wheel drive for god sake, apart from the quatro which is an extra cost!

im a lexus/j-car fan, the bmw is the only company that offers all petrol, diesel, hybrids and hydrogen. having hydrogen and petrol in one car is not practical and possibly v.expensive too. i heard that their 7-series mpg in both petrol and hydrogen does less than 30 mpg :(

it does less than 20 mpg on gasoline...(17 ish, IIRC) and its a pathetic 260hp V12...the engine uses 50 liters of hydrogen to go the same distance as it does on 13.9 liters of gasoline
