He's not that hard actually, need to kill crossbows guys and then kick always the same feet, (fire helps) it's gonna make him fall, then aim for the head! Other thing to know is u need to get away from him when he raises his shield or feet. then go back and strike him hard!
@leet4589 Couldn't agree any more than I do!100% right you are.He is pretty easy compared to foes (not even bosses) in NG+.If you figure out his attack and movement pattern then he is done.Getting to this boss is more difficult than actually fight the boss in my opinion.

Demons souls is a better game than Dark soukls, but i like Dark souls more because of the graphics, leght and world. Should have made a Demons souls 2 not Dark souls
Really enjoying this game, nice to get a challenge unlike Skyrim which was time consuming but easy. I found ranging its ankles from the 2nd tier was less troublesome, you can quickly drop down when he falls. I had to do it this way because I didn't have gear so was one hitted if he caught me close.

When I entered this boss battle he threw me all along the walls but I didn't die. :D I spammed Soul Arrow from above and finished him with my axe. Playing as knight.

Originally I had gotten to the level after the one with the giant red dragon in the lava pits and kept dying over and over and over. Every other level before that was a piece of cake by spamming soul arrow with my royalty character.
Now I just tried to restart this game with a knight build. Everything was all good till this stupid ass boss killed me and took all my souls. Worse dying penalties ever JUST GIVE ME A CHECKPOINT!!

Any boss that moves this slowly and attacks so slowly is always going to be easy, there's no excuse for taking any damage in this fight. Just be patient and keep circling him, choose the right time to strike and he's finished.
Maybe I was over-levelled but I circled him for ages before attacking because I was scared to get too close, when I did get close and started attacking his feet with the Crescent Falchion he took a lot of damage and I only had to do that 2 or 3 times before he fell over, once he's down it's game over for him.

@Drealmers which bosses did you beat? you only need to beat one archdemon, but it has to be the end boss of an area (like the third boss in stonefang tunnel, or the third boss of tower of latria)
Hardest part about this boss is the freakin 4archers and 2 knights waiting at the end of the bridge you have to sprint on with a dragon on your ass before you can even start thinkin about killing the tower knight.
Spent like 2hours on this and died a gezillion on that fking bridge. Made it to the Tower knight only once, and then i got splattered by his shield when my hero started rolling on the ground instead of sprinting.
@Peanutz75 Exactly! I hated the 2 knights especially at the end of the bridge but after so many retries they get easy, now i easily parry-riposte those 2 like it's nothing.
What i like about DS is that you can lookup how to beat a boss on Youtube but it'll still be hard as f*ck to do it yourself. Man, this game is something else...

Just to get to this boss I probably died tons of times. I mean... "Oh a free passage... Lets run! :D" then outta nowhere dragon comes. "Oh this room looks clear!" Then out of darkness comes a horde of raging dogs jumping on you....

I don't know why i'm so proud of myself but i managed to get through 1-1 and 1-2 and on through the Tower Knight without dying and zero cheating. And no, i didn't use this method to defeat the TK, i went high and shot down arrows. Too bad it took me 3 hours to do it though.
Good job. :D I managed to get a lot further without dying as well, my first death was actually trying to get the damned colorless soul that's on a beam above the Brushwood armor. I landed on the beam but as soon as my character stood up she sort of slid off, I was so pissed...

This boss is pretty easy. Just make sure he doesn't hit you with his shield and get behind his huge ass shield and then start whaling away at his ankles and just stay behind him at all costs he'll keep using frontal attacks totally oblivious that your cutting away at his feet.
I ALWAYS die because of the same combo... First he tosses his shield to the ground, knocking me over, and as soon as I am back on my legs he just flatens me with the goddamn front of his shield. After dancing over my ass for like 5 minutes, of course. Every time I am behind him he just walks backwards. What an asshole -.-
@TheBloodyVengeance Easy way 2 kill that boss is 2 buy soul arrow (magic) and use it from distance. U climbe on wall and when he att with mag att U throw spell. If U are not magicion fight is much harder.
@MrMaka32 Thanks for your advice. I created a temple knight character. I don't know how experienced you are with these, but it was quite a pain in the ass at first. The good thing is, if you brought him down once yu can deal a lot of damage with your halberd and bring him down again when he stands up. I think that playing as a noble (or how they are called) would not have been a bad choice, but I really like the playstyle og the temple knight, even though the bossfights can be more difficult.
if u get help with this boss eg summon another player into your realm, it becomes so easy, 1 person distract the knight on the ground and meele it, the other go to the top of the surrounding castle and soul ray it to death. doing this took me 2 mins to kill this guy =]
@100Noemi It doesn't seem that hard, but it actually is most of the time. Tower Knight wasn't one of the harder bosses, but he was still tough. And yeah, I recommend it.
Barbarian Class with Heater (or healer, w/e) shield, strength @ 18, bastard sword +1, and about 10 crescents, a few halves, and a handful of lates, oh, and an arrow that did 1 damage (aka pointless), and i some how managed to take this bad boy down first try.
I feel sad when I kill him, I love him, he's my fav boss. Most of the time, I do 2-1 first. Last time I had a +5 Great Axe when I got to the Tower Knight. Took me just 3 hits to his head to kill him :(
It took me so long to finally beat those two blue knights and i was thinking "should i proceed beyond this fog....yeah i'll do it." Then i was like "Nooooooo my 3000 souls" Luckily i managed to beat him with my "Hit and run like a pussy " tactic" :3

@bryandPR Maybe he meant he beat this boss at first attempt while recording. Look at his health bar. Unless he found items that give you a zero loss in HP, he did not die before. Of course he died quite often trying to figure out tactics... as everyone did :D

When I knocked the knight down my initial thought was to go for the weak spot, the family jewels and castrate the bitch. Didn't work out to well, it ending up getting up and stomping me to death.
@omegagilgamesh No, the early parts are just that easy. In fact, this isn't even a very good run through. I'm playing as a Thief, and I can do all this stuff just as good, if not better. I don't block attacks that much. I just dodge them. In this runs Boletarian Palace 1-2 part 2, he blocks and has this long, drawn out method to fighting blue eyed knights. I dodge their first hit, backstab them and hit them once as they get up. Luring is also not my thing. Just out maneuver the large group.
I guess you could say this boss an.. ACHILLES HEEL!

Tower Knight is a breeze.

I beat this guy first try using a royal, it took me around 20 min, I just hung behind a pillar and kept soul arrowing his ass.

I don't know why i'm so proud of myself but i managed to get through 1-1 and 1-2 and on through the Tower Knight without dying and zero cheating. And no, i didn't use this method to defeat the TK, i went high and shot down arrows. Too bad it took me 3 hours to do it though.

Good job. :D I managed to get a lot further without dying as well, my first death was actually trying to get the damned colorless soul that's on a beam above the Brushwood armor. I landed on the beam but as soon as my character stood up she sort of slid off, I was so pissed...

This boss is pretty easy. Just make sure he doesn't hit you with his shield and get behind his huge ass shield and then start whaling away at his ankles and just stay behind him at all costs he'll keep using frontal attacks totally oblivious that your cutting away at his feet.

I ALWAYS die because of the same combo... First he tosses his shield to the ground, knocking me over, and as soon as I am back on my legs he just flatens me with the goddamn front of his shield. After dancing over my ass for like 5 minutes, of course. Every time I am behind him he just walks backwards. What an asshole -.-

@TheBloodyVengeance Easy way 2 kill that boss is 2 buy soul arrow (magic) and use it from distance. U climbe on wall and when he att with mag att U throw spell. If U are not magicion fight is much harder.

@MrMaka32 Thanks for your advice. I created a temple knight character. I don't know how experienced you are with these, but it was quite a pain in the ass at first. The good thing is, if you brought him down once yu can deal a lot of damage with your halberd and bring him down again when he stands up. I think that playing as a noble (or how they are called) would not have been a bad choice, but I really like the playstyle og the temple knight, even though the bossfights can be more difficult.

if u get help with this boss eg summon another player into your realm, it becomes so easy, 1 person distract the knight on the ground and meele it, the other go to the top of the surrounding castle and soul ray it to death. doing this took me 2 mins to kill this guy =]

@100Noemi It doesn't seem that hard, but it actually is most of the time. Tower Knight wasn't one of the harder bosses, but he was still tough. And yeah, I recommend it.

Barbarian Class with Heater (or healer, w/e) shield, strength @ 18, bastard sword +1, and about 10 crescents, a few halves, and a handful of lates, oh, and an arrow that did 1 damage (aka pointless), and i some how managed to take this bad boy down first try.

I feel sad when I kill him, I love him, he's my fav boss. Most of the time, I do 2-1 first. Last time I had a +5 Great Axe when I got to the Tower Knight. Took me just 3 hits to his head to kill him :(

@bryandPR Maybe he meant he beat this boss at first attempt while recording. Look at his health bar. Unless he found items that give you a zero loss in HP, he did not die before. Of course he died quite often trying to figure out tactics... as everyone did :D

@omegagilgamesh No, the early parts are just that easy. In fact, this isn't even a very good run through. I'm playing as a Thief, and I can do all this stuff just as good, if not better. I don't block attacks that much. I just dodge them. In this runs Boletarian Palace 1-2 part 2, he blocks and has this long, drawn out method to fighting blue eyed knights. I dodge their first hit, backstab them and hit them once as they get up. Luring is also not my thing. Just out maneuver the large group.
