I don't get why people compare Ken Block to all these genuine drift drivers. It's like comparing a film to a play. One is spontaneous, often doesn't look quite as good but every performance is a little different, the other is a combination of hundreds of shots, takes and scenes, spliced together to create something great. Sure he might not be as talented, few would argue he was, but he does make enjoyable videos, and for that I thank him.

Why are you idiots comparing Ken Block to this? Ken Block's gymkhana stuff is done over an entire week with many different takes and practice runs, edited to make it look like one complete run. He sucks as a rally driver, and he's just a meh driver overall. This one corner is miles better than any Ken Block video, because it's spontaneous and it actually takes some skill to hold it in this kind of slide.

you can tell by this video that this wasn't on purpose, he was gonna loose it then right on the last second he was probably thinking i have enough speed and angle to keep the drift around the corner. Knuckles are like turbo's. There is good ones and bad ones, all designed for differnt types of performance. Short knuckles are poor for high speed grip and stock style knuckles ( like GPSPORTS - Hey Man Products design) are the ultimate, proven in doriten magazine with the highest speed while maintaing maximum angle( most angle - measured in degrees - and thats CAR angle. not steering "LOCK" they are two differnt things.)

There is smoke coming front. Quite a lot.

The car is not travelling in the same direction the wheels are pointed. It's nearly flipped backwards (past 90 degrees) while entering the turn. You'd need MORE than 180 degrees of total steering angle from your front tires... Good luck with that!

the front wheels are no locked. this is like any other 2wd drift BUT the car has modified knuckles. part shop max and ma-motorsports make knuckles for s-chasis cars and other popular cars. if u wanna see angle stateside search matt powers or tommy roberts on google and look for some pictures. their front wheels are ROLLING, just because someone gets more angle doesn't mean the front wheels are sliding.

The front wheels don't have to be locked for them to slide - you are getting two different things mixed up.

There is a corner on my (crap) local track which is slightly downhill, I slide through it off the gas and off the brakes, all 4 wheels have slip angle. Like old mate in the vid, except with much less angle, my car is a shitbox, and I am a no0b :)
