  • She is GORGEOUS! I just adore her!!!

  • She is GORGEOUS!

  • I agree, but it's because of choreography I think.

  • . <3

  • wow, she looks so diff. from when she did this when younger! haha

i like her alot. but i think there is too much showy flexibility stuff in here.

  • Only Alicia Alonso And Plisetskaya could dance the real Carmen

the one that Alberto Alonso had in mind

so i recommend to watch those Primas Ballerinas Assolutas and to compare the diference (and they doesn´t look like stretching they are really dancing)

  • At least I find someone who thinks as I do!

It's true, in this version there is so much show off, but there's not art at all.

  • @actor001 come on, don't mess up with something you don't know about!

It is not Alonso's Carmen, it is a little piece that Igor Belskiy created for Diana when she went to Losanna contest at 14 years old or so. Of course he was inspired by Alonso - you clearly can see it if you watch, but this piece has little to do with the ballet you mentioned.

  • I am shocked. This is horrible!!, or maybe is not but definitly this is not ballet, it is closer to rythmic gymnastic. Sorry but, no, no.Anyway I like her in general

  • it is the alberto alonso version of carmen i guess

i think is better than the roland petit version because is more closer to the spanish culture and the music is so sensual and also every step that the character of carmen makes are so powerfull and makes you feel that she dont care what is surround her and she loves to play with the love of the men

  • This solo was created especially for her by the artistic director of the Academy Igor Belsky. She danced it for the first time during the "Prix de Lausanne" competition.

  • I don't like Alberto Alonso's version. I think the dancers look like te male gymnastics when they are doing the floor exercises. The dancers don't look graceful and honestly it doesnt have anything to do with the Spanish culture beside the fact that Carmem is Spanish.

  • This version of Carmen is not by Roland Petit...

  • Yes, it's not. But I like the Roland Petit's version much more!

  • she is perfect!!!!!!

  • wonderfull!!!
