  • was it hard to grind the mag well area out on the ATI stock? i want the same stock im just worried about messing it up if you have to grind it alot, also what tools did you use for it

    thanks

  • @anarky4321 I had the same thinking as you. I took my time so I didn't remove too much material. Started off with a file on both sides then used a dremel because the file was taking way too long. The instructions that come with the stock suck. I would dremel a little bit on both sides then check the clearance with a mag until it fit perfect. Absolutely no play in the mag at all. Took about 2+ hours, less if I would of not been so cautious. I highly recommend the aluminum tube upgrade for it.

  • @AKSKSMAN how solid does it sit in the stock, was your accuracy affected at all going from stock..stock? also, you thinking of selling yours? also whats the aluminum tube upgrade? sorry for all the ?s man =/

  • @anarky4321 It sits center in the stock and very snug. Accuracy isn't affected at 100yrds but beyond that I wouldn't know because I didn't shoot it with the factory stock any farther than that. I would consider selling it for the cost of the parts considering it's still pretty new to me and less than 1000 rounds through it. I have upgraded the hammer spring, recoil spring, and aluminum buffer tube since this video and got a Magpul ACS buttstock and AFG2 for it. Look "Upgrades" video.

  • @AKSKSMAN price?

  • @anarky4321 All together about $1000 +/-

  • Very Nice.

  • Please tell me that stock came with atleast the two side rails and top rail?

  • @nevaganvolyourself71 So many ?'s. I ordered the stock direct from ATI's website. $109.99 with free shipping. Took almost two weeks to get it though. It came with a 7" top rail, two 3" side rails, and a 3" bottom rail. The bottom rail mounts all the way in the front so I got the 6" bottom rail to adjust the foregrip. In the video you can clearly see the bottom rail. I chose not to mount the other rails because I have no use for them. I like iron sights and hate weapon mounted lights. IMO.

  • I watched again, damn no bottom rail huh ohwell...

  • Were did you order your ati stock from and did it come with the bottom rail? Also were did you order the tapco grip from? And is it worth it or is it cheap???

Thanks and great video....I can't decide what stock I want.
