It's called arrow root, you can find it on one of the special herbs albums. Truly a classic track. Artists like DOOM keep hiphop fresh and alive.

  • @Juanskater1991 because people can't appreciate good music, it's all about killing people and doing crack now

  • @erikthemagicalpanda So were all the classic Wu albums. The difference is the MCs was dope and the rhymes were classic. Problem is the beats is wack now and rap will never go back to the golden era

  • nice mix ,BIG UPZ

  • where can i download this ill beat?

  • check out my channel 4 da best teenage rap talent out right now hands down...

(I wouldn't lie) check us out n subscribe plz

  • This is Nastradoomus. It's art, you can call it hip hop, rap, music, whatever you wan't. But the truth is it's simply art, and in this case with great talent.

  • @VividView smack yourself

  • Why use such a shitty Nas song?

  • what are the name of the beats???

  • @tossetmedis next levels by king geedorah

  • What songs are these?

  • why are you goofs talking about the 4 elements, go listen to KRS-one "9 elements" 1. break dancing 2. Rapping 3. Graffiti art 4. DJing 5. Beatboxing 6. Street fashion 7. Street Language 8. Street Knowledge 9. Street Entrepreneurialism
  • @snappy2332 I disagree. Street Entrepreneurship, Knowledge, Language, and Fashion were all around before hiphop and they can exist outside of hiphop circles.

You won't find a metalhead bboy, a rapping blues artist.... DJing expands into electronic music but it still has it's roots in hiphop, and same with Graffiti. I see beatboxing as a part of DJing and emceeing.

KRS is over philosophical and seems to forget that hiphop, in the grand scheme of things in our universe, is very small.

  • @tnizzle53 Actualy, Chris Thomas King (Great Blues Guitarist, & Singer. Possibly most famous for playing Tommy Johnsn in "Oh Brother Where Art Thou") also raps on a few of his songs. I saw him live a few years back performing with the Muddy Waters Band & he came out on stage rapping to to the band & abunch of old people started to walk out. & then he went into a guitar solo & they sat back down. So there you have a rappig blues artist.

  • @tnizzle53 Actually, NonPhixion, ILL BILL, Goretex and Necro are total Metalheads. In fact, I know Goretex has toured and down shows with straight up death metal bands. Hip-hop culture is enormous and global now and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

Hip-hop has shaped our visual art, media, music, fashion and even our language. You will find very few English speaking people anymore who do not use terms directly tied to hip-hop.

  • @CRRankinstein If your talkin about words like man and cool and stuff like that, it comes even before hip-hop with jazz.

  • @CRRankinstein Word bro, everyone says something related to the hip hop terminology.

  • @CRRankinstein you just mentioned non phixion then ill bill and goretex....why? they are non phixion you idiot

  • @snappy2332 Whoever said 4 elements is most likely outlining the 4 pillars of hip-hop according to Afrika Bambaataa, or by extension The Mighty Zulu Nation.

  • respect from russia! father of hip hop

  • Wtf this Flecther guys goes on all of MFDooms songs and starts being dumb

  • @crazywalkurkid818 Thank you for informing that idiot on whats up in Hip Hop

  • @TheKipKadillac no prob

  • @XxJessieJealousyx Um no it wasn't. and if it was "coined" by a white man, who cares, Hip Hop brings people together not enforces racism you stupid fuck. Graffiti has plenty to do with Rapping and Breaking. Since I know people that do all 3, then they do have something to do with each other. I am happy to tell you that you are 100% misinformed and uneducated in Hip Hop Culture. and i think Jessie is Jealous that no one will accept or buy the art you try to bring into this world.

  • what beat is this? i can't remember. sounds like a WU one right?

  • @dafuki it's from King Geedorah - "Next Levels"

doom's best track imo, don't think he's rapped over it though

  • i love nas but i wish they used another song. nastradamus is his weakest but its still pretty good

  • Nastradoomus ..hehe

  • iffu like both of dem u shud check my page

  • fucking love nas man sooo dope!!

  • So chill....

  • @vitorbelfort Rap is Hip Hop man. MF Doom is a dope ass Rapper that spits dope ass raps. Thats like saying Ford is not a car company, or Toyota isnt. They are all car companies, and all rap is hip hop. Unfortunately there is a massive overload of "commercial" rap that is brain washing our music.

  • TheKidKadillac dispenses much wisdom, wanted or not.

  • dopest shit ever .

  • @freestylefletcher ur a dumb ass !!!!! if doom is so bad then don't listen to him!!!!!!! and how can u say he sucks doom is the shit!!!!!!

  • fuck u for thinking ur the shit

  • shit's ill

  • i think lil wayne made 23 accounts and clicked dislike

  • i think this is DOOM's best beat (besides Hey!)...but ya this shh. defines hip hop.

  • I'm saying that it's a bad thing. Where's the talent? Nas + MF DOOM = useless title. Rap sucks

  • @SoldatSolutrea you're a fag

  • Comment removed

  • @SoldatSolutrea then your comment is completely irrelevant. whats the point of commenting or even clicking this vid when you dont even like rap...

    hater get the fuck out

  • @jegz55 You would like to know why I commented? I'm what you might call a fanatic. I have known all my life that what you call rap is immoral and low quality sound churned out for the lower classes to make business men richer and more powerful. Rarely ever will you get true artists like Matisyahu or Common who put emotional messages representing the human soul in their art. I come hear for all your sake for you to realize something, not to feel special. No, I won't get the fuck out.

  • @SoldatSolutrea so if your such a "fanatic" how come you can't see this isn't even rap, its hip hop. A genre developed back in the day on the streets of NY by the people for the people. So for you to say its made just to make business men richer and more powerful is completely false. in fact the business men most definably made more money off of both those artist you just mentioned, promoting them on vh1 & mtv so i fail to see your point. Don't try to justify your close-mindedness for my sake.

  • same beat as Next Levels... not saying thats a bad thing

  • Actually this is rap, Hip Hop is a culture. And Rap is the EmCeeing, the spitting of lyrics. You wont ever say that you are Hip Hopping are you? No you are Rapping. Hip Hop is EmCees, B-Boys, DJ's, and Graffiti Artists. and Rap will Always be Hip Hop. but there will also always be 2 sides to the coin, the good and bad.

  • @TheKipKadillac well put. I agree.

  • @TheKipKadillac WORD!

  • @TheKipKadillac nah nah, hip hop is rap without the lies.

  • @TheKipKadillac the term hip hop was coined by a white man

also graffiti has NOTHING to do with rapping or breaking

I am sad to inform you that your misinformed and if

people thumbs it up they are too

  • @XxJessieJealousyx um if you know ANYTHING about Hip-Hop Culture, you should know that MC'ing, DJ'ing,Graffiti, and B-Boying are elements of it. So ur WRONG,graffiti, rappin, and breaking COMPLETELY go together

  • @XxJessieJealousyx Four elements of hip hop MCing(rap\poetry\singing) DJing(producing\playing instruments) Grafitti(Visual art\Sculpture) Breaking(dance\Pysical movement art). I learn the for elements when I met Kool Herc at a show forum he did a few years ago and from my brother who was born in the 70s and grew up in the 80s. All the stuff I put into parentheses was to help you understand that they are all related to art that originates from modern culture.

  • @TheKipKadillac That makes sense.

  • @TheKipKadillac you need the bad to maintain the quality of the good. and to make the good, awesome.

  • @TheKipKadillac I dont think anybody could have put it better bro. respect.

  • @TheKipKadillac True philosophy.

  • @TheKipKadillac Yes, and some punks see skateboarding as Hip Hop, don't listen to them =.=;

  • @TheKipKadillac

Breaking, Rapping, Graf, DJing, Battling, Skateboarding.

  • @yukmouth23jayrich23 not skateboarding, if you want to get to it's roots, it was started by surfers so skateboarding would be with surfer music if anything.

  • @TheKipKadillac

Started by surfers? WTF..... where the fuck can you Surf in New York?

  • @yukmouth23jayrich23 I don't think anywhere, but skateboarding didn't start in New York lol it started in California hahaha know your history. and yes it was started by surfers.

  • @yukmouth23jayrich23 Dude everybody that skates knows that it started in cali by surfers. It was actually called SideWalk Surfing before it got the name skateboarding. lol can you surf in New York, what a stupid ass question.

  • @PortabIePinoy

I thought you were talking about where Hip Hop started, thats why I thought you were an idiot.

  • @yukmouth23jayrich23 well that was dumb if you read my whole comment I said "not skateboarding, if you want to get to it's roots, it was started by surfers so skateboarding would be with surfer music if anything." so I guess you are the idiot here.

  • @PortabIePinoy

Not exactly because I don't really care about where Skateboarding was created, the only thing I care about is how it became part of the hip hop culture. Surfing is something completely separate.... Jazz and Rock and Roll influenced the creation of Hip Hop, doesn't mean it fits into that category. Peace God.

  • @yukmouth23jayrich23 They fit into that catergory way more than Skateboarding does hahaha whats next, ping pong is hip hop?? I like skateboarding I do it myself, but it is not hip hop, Peace and Fuck God

  • @PortabIePinoy Fuck God? Fuck you, you pinoy border hoppin mutation fuck

  • @MyS0ngList Yea fuck god, It shouldnt bother anyone, Its like saying fuck Santa Claus? or wait does that bother you too? What if I said Fuck the Boogie Man, or the Tooth Fairy? Does that bother you too?

  • @PortabIePinoy Lol alright you Filipino fuck or w.e you weirdos are supposed to fuckin represent, at least my name ain't Ricardo n mow lawns faggot

  • @MyS0ngList lol Filipino! hahaha thats awesome! and my name is Ricardo and I mow lawns and I am gay? hahhahaha thats awesome.

  • @PortabIePinoy If ye dont know, ye dont talk.

i really believe the perception of God is very different then the Toothfairy

  • @PortabIePinoy um, i dont know where you love, but as of now, skateboarding is apart of hip hop now...im a skater(not the greatest tho) and most of my freinds who skate listen to mf doom, wiz, odd future, classic 90s hip hop etc...

  • @DamnIwannafck232 Skateboarding IS NOT a part of Hip Hop. I skate and I listen to Hip Hop, does not make them the same thing. So if a cop listens to Mf Doom, Cops are Hip Hop now? If 15 soccer players listen to Nas, is soccer Hip Hop now? NO. Skateboarders can be a FAN of Hip Hop but they are NOT hip hop. 4 elements dude, B-Boy, Graff, DJs and MCs, NOT SKATING.

  • @TheKipKadillac i honestly dont care what you got to think lol, for me and the rest of my neighboorhood skating is a part of hip hop for us, all we do is rap, tag, skate. skateing isnt a part of hip hop, hip hop is a part of skating :D

  • @DamnIwannafck232 Alright then, lets follow your lead. Justin Beiber did a song with Kanye West AND Raekwon, so I guess Justin Beiber is Hip Hop. Skateboarding is hip hop? then so is Iceskating, I heard these girls listening to Lil wayne while skating on the ice. So wow, I guess everything is just HIp Hop now. Bro, Crayons are so Hip Hop, I tag with them lol

  • @TheKipKadillac Crayons are sooooooooooooooooooo hip hop. Yooooooooo.

  • @yukmouth23jayrich23 of course skateboarding was started by surfers! they wanted something to do when there was no waves! skateboarding was very different in the beginging, more like long boarding i guess, carving and bombing hills

  • I swear most of Nas's songs are about his life..

  • @smoothness1000 its called being real man

  • lovely beat choice for the first track cuzn, i love this doom joint, lovely horns.

  • Comment removed

  • @SwaggerLikeUz i'm old enough to know good hip hop. i was just sayin that tryin to say some shit is hip hop and some is rap is a wak concept. it's all rhyming over beats. and i don't give a fuck who nas likes. like that would fukin convince me that he's good. i like what i like. and i don't like this fat washed up grandpa rapper. he ain't shit. now go turn your FAGGER SWAGGER on and do your homework. dooomilazy ani't shit. listen to some real spit.

  • @FreestyleFletcher i just think that it's fuckin gay to say someone is an MC not a rapper. all label bullshit. you're what's wrong with America. I bump real shit.-Dustyy Grin, K-Rino, Technique, GZA, Kool Keith, OUTKAST, the Grouch, Muggzy Flowz, Canibus, Killah Priest, Aesop Rock, Fill Ney the Flyest Guy...... dudes with REAL spit. not some washed up grandpa rapper. grow the fuck up.

  • @FreestyleFletcher Since your such a Kool Keith fan, can you tell me what Group Kool Keith was in before he went solo? If you dont know tha answer to that, its time to do your Homework! ...
