Mia madre conosce un primario dell'ospedale Sacco di Milano che é specializzato in cure per l'Hiv, e tempo fa (un anno fa, quando ho rischiato anch'io di contrarre il virus) mi diceva che la ricerca é arrivata a un punto tale che tra non molto l'Aids sarà una malattia cronicizzata come il colesterolo. Certo, il "piccolo" particolare é che questi nuovi farmaci costano tantissimo. E in mezza Africa una persona su tre muore.

Il AIDS ora è considerato come una malattia trattabile di lunga durata. Ora con la buona medicina, la gente può vivere vite normali lunghe.
