I had a chance to see Annette and all of the Mouseketeers perform at St. Joe's hospital, where my mom was working at the time. St. Joe's is still across the street from the Disney studio complex in Burbank. Much later when I was a limo driver, I had the privilege to drive Frankie Avalon to the airport. He looked great and that voice, even in casual conversation is as pure as they come.

I know that he cares for Annette as one of his own. A finer friend no one can ask for.

I was a huge fan of Annette in the Mickey Mouse Club when I was a child. I was privileged to meet her in person and go for a walk in a park with her in 1989. Effects of her MS were just barely becoming obvious at that time. She is a beautiful and lovely person suffering from a terrible devastating disease. I can no longer go for such walks anymore either, but please God, we will meet again in the next world and walk again together whole and healthy.

@jvf469 Are you kidding? I recently wrote an article to my local paper infuriated that the little girl in the Shirley Temple bio had BLUE EYES. Shirley had BROWN eyes, as did Linda Darnell, Ida Lupino, Jennifer Jones, Natalie Wood, Audrey Hepburn, Jayne Mansfield, Shelley Fabrey, Jill St. John, Lena Horn, Connie Francis, and the gorgeous Jacqueline Kennedy. Brown eyes are beautiful!

Although at first it seems mismatched to our favorite Italian charmer, this replacement music for Jimmie Dodd's beautiful tribute song is suprisingly touching. I was moved to tears looking at our sweet Annette while hearing this sad music. MS has now even claimed Annie's sight, according to reports, but it can never rob her of the deep affection that we hold in our hearts for her.

My brother had a HUGE crush on Annette in 1956. I came along that year and he just HAD to name me after his favorite girlin the world. They took the L off my mom's name and put it on anette, so I'm named after possibly the most beautiful and gracious lady ever to come along. Thanks for being you Annette.

I have that song off the Disneyland LP "Fun With Music" (DQ-1209), but it does have that song, but it does not have people like Frankie Avalon, Paul Anka, Tommy Sands and Shelley Fabares (of the "Donna Reed Show") having their greetings including Mickey Mouse at the end. This song is actually being sung by Jimmie Dodd, who wrote the song and sang it on the Mickey Mouse Club TV show in the 1950's. The voices of Frankie Avalon and the others were added to the song when it was released on the Annette 2CD box set in 1993.
